Old C64 platform game with a kid on a skateboard in a city level. Before the level was quick halfpipe interlude. I remember specific catchy jingle when level started. Flat 2D view(sidescroller likely), no isometric view.

Pretty sure the game had no "skate" in the title.

Back in the day I had a PC game, Im talking maybe early 2000's or just before. The game was definately a turn based RPG set in an industrial cyberpunk esque world. I remember the main protagonist being a woman with a look similar to that of Lucca from Chrono Trigger. I also vaguely remember having a robotic companion. For the life of me I cannot remember this games name.

OHMYGOSH IT IS SPECIAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION! Thank you so much, it's been bothering me for years that I couldn't remember that game. It took me reading a wikipedia page to remember the name of one of my favorite pinball machines there, Roller Games. Bless y'all.
Well that was easier than expected! Looks like there was another version of that cabinet with a weird flight stick-like shifter that has both the trigger and turbo button but I've never seen that one in the flesh.

I have an really hard one, becuase I only saw like 5 mintues of it and that was forever ago.
My memories are so hazy, I'm not enterily sure if it wasn't just a dream.

It was a 3D turn-based PS2 JRPG with an anime-ish artstyle.
Either it was a either sci-fi or steam setting, since they were fighting against a giant robot. I belive it was a major story boss, maybe even the final one.
That's all I can remember.

Metal Saga, maybe? Or for sci-fi, Xenosaga (maybe, too obvious)?

Remember playing when I was 8 a Godzilla like city destroying game on an 8 inch floppy disk running on a very old computer in the 90's. Computer didn't have a GUI but the game was fun, lots of ballistic trajectories. Can't remember much more, I believe it was colored though.
Rampage?

late '90s/early 2000s(?) children's PC board game that revolved around states of water. You had to criss-cross Escher-inspired boards and could change (or be changed) from ice to water to steam, which effected your movement possibilities. The end of the final board jutted out into a starry space background, and the last tiles were shrouded in a thick fog.

I want to say Skate Rock, but that has skate in the title.

Hey guys, just joined and thought this was the right board to make a first post.

As of late I have been finding back a lot of old games through websites and youtube videos. Though one that is still in my mind keeps avoiding me so far. Here's the details:

Most likely a 90's game as I think back about how old I was. 2d brawler would be the right genre I think. Cartoony style so far as I remember. The protagonist was a green-haired elf with two antenna's having purple balls at it's end. The game was about him beating up other figures in different levels. The levels we're based on fairy tales in which something happened with the result being that the fairy tale didn't go the right way.. I think one of them was about peter pan. I also vaguely remember a bossfight with a witch.

As years go by I might be remembering things a bit differently ofcourse. Hope these details spur some thoughts!

There was this janky Sega Genesis game that was a 2d sidescroller with somewhat realistic graphics, I think there were pirates or some guys with bandanas that you had to kill. I *think* you could play as 3 characters or so. Also a minecart level (I guess?). I know it is not Golden Axe. Sorry guys, I was very young.

I have been trying to identify this one older point and click adventure game I played quite a long time me ago on PC but haven't been able to.

I thought it might have been one of the kings quest games but I am not certain.

From what I remember it was set in some fantasy kingdom with an overhead map of it where you could select to go to the different areas in the kingdom.

I think it was played from first person view where you could select whether you go straight, left or right. I don't think there was much else to it gameplay wise.

Only specific thing I think I remember was taking the wrong turn in a hedge maze and falling to my death. Somehow I remember actually dying a lot in it due to wrong selections.

Unfortunately I can't remember much else and frankly can't even remember if the game was even good but I just sometines wonder what it was. Any help would be appreciated.

Never played it but Cutthroat Island fits the description.

Doesn't really seem to be fantasy, but Labyrinth of Time, maybe?

Unfortunately no, I think it was more traditional medieval fantasy setting. The view / gameplay does look similar though and I think it was newer at least graphics wise. The cut scenes were pretty good from what I remember but it also has to be old since I remember playing it like 15-20 years ago :P

But this Labyrinth of Time also looks interesting. Is it worth to play it still assuming it's somehow still available?

I'm pretty sure this was Asterix on the Master System, but I always remember two guys with their little dog and they are walking and it's a wide shot and they are silhouettes. I was sure it was Asterix, but I could never find this part of the game again, so it might not be.

Maybe you're thinking of the opening of Magical Quest?

Sounds like Skatin' USA, it has a halfpipe bonus level.

Sorry for the double post.

Between 1993-1999 and it was arcade, 2 vs 2 and had teams by country like Korea and Brazil.

This is going to sound weird but are you sure it was a basketball game? Since I couldn't find anything else resembling the game you're describing, I thought I'd search through all the emulated arcade sports games from that period.
I found this game called Heavy Smash (1993), which is a handball sports game, but it closely resembles what you're describing. The final match is on a space station I believe. Also a curious thing is that the European version of the game has the Korean team replaced by a Spanish team (actually, it's just the flag, the characters are the same) while the Asian and Japanese versions have a Korean team.

Trying to think of a game that was never released for the Wii. It would have been a survival horror game and all I remember about the footage was that it featured a female protagonist and it was snowing.

I think this was the Commodore C64 or a game on the Commodore C64 , but there was a game, or the actual system itself where it counted down with bomb icons. I always remember as children, my friend said if we didn't turn it off before the last bomb went off the system would blow up lol. I always wanted to know where that was from again.

Could have been the Amiga too.

Every so often I forget the name of Shadow Madness on PS1, which is shameful because it was one of my favorite JRPG's from that era. I believe it was on one of the Pizza Hut demos as well.

I'm pretty sure it was basketball, the alien team were some pink/purple humanoids and you could even block other player's throws by putting yourself below the rim and jump in and block it with your head lol, the game was pretty crazy.

When I was a kid, my dad was very conflicted about allowing me to play one game which I cannot remember the name of at all. It was a DOS game, you played an escaped convict (I think) who had to avoid these huge cones of light by rolling to cover. If you got caught in the light, you got violently gunned down (hence my dad's unease to let me play it more often). There was no other mechanic in the game, just rolling away from the light.

First thing that sprung to mind was Psycho Pigs UXB.

I have vague memories of an old PC point and click. I borrowed the game from a friend in the early to mid 90's. I remember you played a character that had been sucked into another world. One of the puzzles involved being quizzed by somebody with one of the solutions being a golf tea. Another puzzle was stopping a bucket/pail running away. Hopefully these aren't memories of a few games mashed together, I played a lot of point and clicks back when I got my first PC.

Some P&C adventures with characters transported to other worlds that first come to mind are Universe, Alien Incident, Toonstruck, Future Wars but there are probably a lot more examples out there. Since it kinda sounds like a more lighthearted adventure, might even be a kids/edutainment title.

Hmm, doesn't appear to be any of those. Thinking hard it was a fantasy esque setting and I don't think it was a kids game.

Trying to remember this game I played, It was a fighting/shooting game that I think was a 3D Isometric? view, and it took place on a cruise ship. The only other thing I remember was it has three difficulties and on easy you parachuted in, on medium you came in by boat, and on hard you snuck in underwater.

Edit: I wanna say it was on either the PS1 or Dreamcast.
Edit 2: I found it. It was called Dynamite Cop

I remember in Companions of Xanth you have to solve a puzzle set by the Com-Pewter (ah, a Piers Anthony pun, with all the subtlety and elegance of a sledgehammer to the groin), which required adding a letter to a word, then scrambling it to get the answer to the puzzle, several times over - and the final puzzle you don't have the letter tile, so you had to use the tee instead (i.e. as a T),

Given how closely that matches the description (Being 'quizzed' and the answer being a 'tee'), it wouldn't surprise me if that's what you're thinking of.

It also fits the framing story - your in-game character is transported into Xanth through playing the game "Companions of Xanth" on their PC.

(I don't recall a fleeing bucket, but it's been a very long time since I played it).
