Another good grab for LAFC. Jordan Harvey is a solid dude and will fit in nicely back in Cali.
I'm the one who posted the stories on Reddit, so yes!Whoa, we're interested in someone who is under 20? o.0
Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to have to look into this dude. Also, did you pull both of these stories from Reddit? :p

cliff notes version:
How my man Kendall Waston making it to the 3rd best XI and not the 1st or 2nd best
Looks like RBNY's big DP deal is being held up by a former agent. God only knows if we're actually going to get this guy anymore. At the very least I suppose a square can be crossed off the big Metro Off-season Bingo Card.
The red kit is way better than the blue/yellow away we had last season. Was hoping for a metro throwback kit though.
The Revs one isn't bad.
Also, for TFC fans, I put together a quick phone background based on their treble picture here:
So Rivas, Redding, and a mountain of cash? I think we did ok in that trade.
So Rivas, Redding, and a mountain of cash? I think we did ok in that trade.
Shit, I read that wrong. Why the hell did we have to pay?Uhhh...
The Red Bulls also sent $150,000 in targeted allocation money (TAM) to Orlando along with their captain.
The deal would probably look better with our new DP deal wasn't imploding as we speak. I think Keita or Davis can take that spot and make it work for them, and give us more formation options than Sacha did.Wasn't Kljestan entering the last year of his contract? He may be productive, but wrong side of 30 and making DP money...
This is one of those trades that will definitely look bad for NY in first year or two (like an order of magnitude more so than DeRo for Dax), and long term will depend on how Rivas and Redding pan out.
It's about giving the guys behind him minutes and letting them develop. Both Keita and Davis have the stuff to be big for the club, plus RBNY has a good track record of developing centerbacks so Redding should pan out after a bit with RB2. Combined with that DP deal the team is trying to do and we need the space in midfield.I don't understand how this trade makes sense for NYRB. Rivas is a bust and Redding has been okay. Kljestan is a top-level midfield talent and you traded him for that?
