I just got my first legendary core crystal from a lockpicked chest, are those guaranteed to have a rare blade or is it just a high chance of it?
Little Little higher chance

Salvaging isn't that dangerous a job anyway, you just need to be good with QTEs!
I got my last four in 40-50 legendaries and 50-60 rares, without speccing for luck at all.I think that's the norm. My second-to-last took well over 100 rare and legendary cores, and my last, well over 200. I've heard about much worse, as well.
just go and hunt all UM. Chickenheart, Orion and that Bull thing in the Crater in Temperantia are supposed to be the hardestJust did my first 10 million capped damage on the 110 level unique with a 4 orb full burst and a party of around 89. Felt great!
Also, I now have a fully built Poppi. Took a couple of days of grinding, but I got there. I would not have bothered if had another game to play, but I am waiting until Lost Sphear, so will continue with Xenoblade until then.

Yeah they're so limited in the number of boosters to keep but at some point you can increase the limit via shop deeds.
If the message is that you don't have enough space to receive a reward, it is because your boosters are already filled in your inventory. There is another shop beside the trading shop that will buy your excess boosters.
Later on you can buy your way past these limits by having capacity extensions.
good luck, im now gonna start to Force Feed Sheba and see if I can calculate what is the bond Points required for Every S1 - S9 and S+Yeah, I will be hunting them down. Needed to get some moon matter chips first. I still need to optimise the party a little more though.
Fuck the factory part in chapter IV, holy shite. I was going around in circles and even came across a control room key. Looks like none of that was what I was supposed to do. Apparently you gotta run past super monsters to get there? Lovely. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow but chapter IV's stupid fetch quests have really been annoying!
Considering what i think is your level, the best way right now is to hunt for treasure chests and continue with salvaging...Tx for the swift answer guys.^_^ Now, my Mor Ardain is fully completed lol. Any tips on where to hunt for Rare Core though? I wanted to pull the gacha but monsta won't drop except for the crab from salvaging.

Chickenheart is easy if you just do the Steam Explosion blade combo to knock it off the platform and watch it lose almost all its health due to the fall damage.just go and hunt all UM. Chickenheart, Orion and that Bull thing in the Crater in Temperantia are supposed to be the hardest
I put Tank mod V on Poppi qtpi, is that considered good, or is she better has an attacker to help hold aggro?
Ursula gets 5000 fans in her quest. Never take video game population from what you can see, haha. How many annual salvaging deaths were cited in that throwaway conversation at the start of the game? 26? Something like that. And how many people does Alrest have, 1000? That is an astonishing mortality rate. No wonder the salvagers need new blood.

Oh, for sure. Most salvagers don't have a big dragon titan watching over them though. I'm guessing all the creatures that come up with the salvage is where the majority of the danger comes from.Well obviously I wasn't being serious there, but there probably was some merit to the initial notion that salvaging is dangerous enough that throwing the children into that life should have been considered a bit more carefully.

The best and safest place to farm much later for me was Uraya, head section if i remember correctly (room looks like a phillips screw head). there is a unique monster in there that is level 65, it releases gold chips (which in turn increase the drop rates), rare cores (almost everytime) and legendary cores (1 out of 2 fights) but i already had finished the game by then.
I went back and spoiled it, but I've seen mid- to late-game party members unspoiled in this thread so I wasn't sure what still counts as a spoiler at this point. Is there a specific chapter past which we're putting things in tags for? If so I probably missed the memo.Well, at the risk of telling a moderator how to moderate, surely that's a spoiler? :p
Throw a rock and pull the mob out?I need to beat a monster that is seating on a toxic lake and stupid Nia and Tora stand in the purple goo during the entire fight killing themselves.
Seriously AI should be smarter than this
any tips?
what is the button combo for such a thing, my pro controller has never pulled off a Lure at all I press down on the D-Pad and all it does is pull up controller menu
Thanks a lot! Ill look for the accesory and food. What you're seeing is one of the reasons why Mythra is OP, she refills driver arts on critical. In Zenobia case, one of the arts for axes does that. I think there's an accessory that helps refilling driver arts? Otherwise just use food to help you refill the arts.
Just started chapter 5 and I'm already 95 hours in.
I'm... scared.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, thanks for the head's up, I just want to know where the specific line is at this point. Obviously we aren't talking about the last two chapters, but beyond that I can't tell what is and is not a spoiler anymore.Oh, well again, I certainly wasn't trying to tell you how to do your job - moreso wondering if there was any official protocol for this sort of thing. The general attitude towards spoilers in this topic does seem to be a cavalier one and I can't say I recall anyone complaining about being spoiled, so perhaps anything goes is the right call.
Also realised I forgot to actually respond to the content of your first post; that's blade is so good - I had the same arrangement. Let me use everyone I wanted, which is really everyone available to use minus Tora. There's enough stuff available to obviate the need for healer blades entirely but it's nice to keep that one around; she's definitely fun to use.
I think it's a matter of convenience and what can be considered surprising. Having to spoiler-tag Morag's name any time you mention her in your party can be considered too inconvenient, and her joining isn't too surprising. Zeke was also confirmed to join pre-release.I'm not trying to be mean or anything, thanks for the head's up, I just want to know where the specific line is at this point. If the thread wants to come together and say "everything past chapter x needs to be in tags" I'll add it to the OP for clarity.
On topic: The only two healer blades I use are her and Boreas. They're both on different characters, and it seems to work very well for me. It's far from an ideal set up since he's on my tank, I'd like an override protocol to fix this, but it's more than enough for most of the post-game bosses. So long as I'm not massively outleveled.
I actually didn't know either would join the team until I got to those points in the game. Guess I didn't follow the pre-release stuff as closely as I thought I did.I think it's a matter of convenience and what can be considered surprising. Is that on the in-game timer or the Switch timer? The in-game timer is a bit bugged and tends to overrun.
If you have spent that much time, though, you'll probably be overlevelled enough to ignore random mobs in dungeons from now on.
YER DUN
I don't even find those guys annoying anymore. I love fighting Ardainians at this point.
I'll be honest, I didn't put that together until just now. XP
