Still wondering if I should jump on those Figma Turtles... I have my original 80's ones from when I was a kid (all in excellent condition btw), the 2003 Turtles, the comic book 4 pack from Toys R Us from like 2007, and the main cast from the 2012 show. I still kick myself for not getting the figures from the 2007 animated movie when I had the chance.

Wait, Good Smile/Figma made TMNT figures too?

Sideshow showed off new DC Trinity Premium Format Figures today:

I might bite on all three depending on how well they fit together. It's not everyday that someone releases a Superman statue that depicts him holding what could very well be a decapitated Brainiac head.

Hopefully the next TMNT set from NECA will be 7" scale versions of their 1/4 scale movie figures.

Did NECA switch factories or something? I saw the Friday the 13th Part 3 Jason in a store. It should look very similar to the one for The Final Chapter.
It looked like a cheap knockoff of the Final Chapter figure. I know it wasn't a knockoff because that store wouldn't be getting knockoffs. But if I didn't know better...

Finally got my hand on a SOC SPEC Falguen. I was kinda hoping Fax Factory would follow their Max Gokin Dragonar with it but they seem to have abandoned that line so oh well.

SOC SPEC was a short lived line of figures based on "real robots' (Think Gundam) whose main defining feature was having a die-cast inner frame that can be revealed by removing the outer plastic parts of a figure, similair to the metal build line. While I didn't care for most of them the Falguen caught my eye and I recently found it for a decent price and made a bit of an impulse buy. Funny thing is that's one of the few that maybe due to the nature of the design can't remove the plastic frame, except for on the legs.

Overall I really like it. Articulation is less than ideal and is limited near the hip areas as the skirt is a solid chunk of plastic that gets in the way a lot so you don't have as much flexibility with the legs as you should and can't twist the abdominal area much because of it. Sculpt is really nice though and I love the colors, especially the exposed diecast parts.
I feel the figure shines most when you attach the second pair of wings which are equipped with a bunch of destruction goodies. They make it kinda back heavy but the extra presence is worth it.

Yeah I'm curious as to the design of the new Batman PF.

What's crazy is that a lot of these reveals are revamps of characters they've already done. Joker, Batman, Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Elektra, Poison Ivy, etc. etc. Even their Court of the Dead line is starting to see redesigns of characters who already got PFs.

Isn't this normal, to hook newcomers who otherwise wouldn't be able to get/afford the older versions, as well as milk fans of the characters?

I have almost $600 in preorders through August and I thought that was bad.
