Reading that Manny interview, it's pretty cool that America's Best Dance Crew inspired him to pursue his passion and ultimately led him into acting. I used to be a big fan of that show.

Glad to see Michael had the gangs back and I'm curious as to how the show will move forward for the rest of the season.

Episodes are too short!

It was fine when I could marathon it. I just can't help be surprised each time I see the credits appear now.

That was a great episode. It feels like the show could go anywhere right now since the experiment is pretty much over.

I almost forgot how fast paced this show is, eh. It really feels like they covered several seasons with only what, 22 episodes?

I'm personally waiting for a gif of Jason saying that his team only needs a better offense, a better defense, and some rule changes. Could see that one getting a lot of use with sports fans.

"Cause he's the best" "No, He's not. And even I know that"
I love Jason getting shut down constantly this week

Gonna laugh if the Jaguars somehow win the Super Bowl this year.

And also cry because that means my Bills are losing on Sunday...

We don't suck. All we need is an offense, a defense and some rule changes. LMAFO

And YAY Mindy go her coke. "I can work with that"

Curious to see where they go from here. I don't expect them to be hidden for long.

I imagine they are going to try getting to the good place before they return

"Can't you tell? I'm basically squealing like a birthday girl" is my new favorite line from anything.

Just rewatched the episode. I didn't notice the first time around how toward the end of the note Mindy was almost in tears. That chick really wanted her coke. Good for her for getting it.

The Puddle of Mudd diss is so good, too, as is the Jaguars one. This whole episode was a roast, haha.

I lost it when Sean was telling Michael what the others were saying behind is back, and the quote ends with "....or, that dick!" Holy shit, I was crying for like 2 minutes straight.

Michael Schur once gave an interview about how much TV shows, comedies in particular benefit from a 20 minute run time... but the season premiere really makes me feel like the show would be even more amazing if they gave it 40 minutes every week to really flesh out the comedy and ideas.

Just caught this weeks episode. This show is amazing and I knew Michael was a good guy!. Also that Manny Jacinto interview posted earlier was a good read. Representation matters. And I'm glad to see the good place doubled down in diversity.

The episode definitely felt like it flew by really fast. I didn't want it to end!

My favorite part was when Vicki asked Drunk Janet what Michael kept whispering into her ear:

Vicki: What was Michael whispering into your ear?
Janet: Something, something, Vicki, something, something.
Vicki: I knew he was talking about me!

...Then later we find out what Michael was really whispering into Janet's ear:

Eleanor: So, what did you actually whisper into Janet's ear?
Michael: Something, something, Vicki, something, something.

The payoff was so wonderful!

I'm curious what Michaels long term plans are since they can't stay in the Bad Place forever. Someone is going to check that the town was demolished at some point.

Michael didn't look too pleased when they mentioned The Good Place. I think he's expecting them to remain there.

My guess is that Michael will ban the other demons and end up trying to stall. He'll want his new friends all to himself and will manipulate things to keep it to just the five of them... and Janet, she's not a being, after all.

- Marketplace: How the "The Good Place" creator Mike Schur found hell in Los Angeles
Ryssdal: So, "The Good Place," which is why I thought to speak with you. Were you just sitting around one day and said, "so let's do a show about this utopia kind of place with a girl who shouldn't really be there shows up and we'll cast Kristen Bell and Ted Danson." Is that the way that happens?

Schur: If only it were that easy. The way it happened was I spent – after "Parks and Recreation" which was my last show ended – I drove around LA and just existed in the universe and observed a lot of annoying behavior, as you do. People cutting you off in traffic, and people throwing things on the ground and not picking up after themselves. And I had this game I played with myself where I would just say, "that's negative eight points." Like if anyone was keeping score, what you did right there, sir, cutting me off in traffic, you just lost eight points. And I started thinking about a world where actions have actual point values that can be measured and analyzed and broken down and that led me to the afterlife and I thought what if it's a game and the people with high scores get into the good place and people with the lowest scores get into the bad place. One thing led to another, and then I came up with this idea that a woman who wasn't great gets into that great place and sort of unfolded from there.

Yo what's up with Netflix UK and this show? I absolutely love it but it hasn't added the new episode yet, and I feel like before the break that was happening at most a day or two after airing in the states?

The new episode hasn't happened yet. We are current with the US. It will be added tomorrow morning, a few hours after it airs over there.

The last episode we have (2x08) is the last that has aired so far.

That was such a sweet episode. Them teaming up, slash giving up together and just hanging out, reminded me of the more heartfelt Parks eps.
