Reading that Manny interview, it's pretty cool that America's Best Dance Crew inspired him to pursue his passion and ultimately led him into acting. I used to be a big fan of that show.
Glad to see Michael had the gangs back and I'm curious as to how the show will move forward for the rest of the season.
Episodes are too short!

I'm personally waiting for a gif of Jason saying that his team only needs a better offense, a better defense, and some rule changes. Could see that one getting a lot of use with sports fans.

If that ever happened, they need to pull a Lost and incorporate it into the show. I don't care where they are on the timeline, Jason makes a Good Place wish or something and does it retroactively.
I imagine they are going to try getting to the good place before they return
It's funny that he plays the same exact character in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Michael Schur once gave an interview about how much TV shows, comedies in particular benefit from a 20 minute run time... but the season premiere really makes me feel like the show would be even more amazing if they gave it 40 minutes every week to really flesh out the comedy and ideas.
Marc Evan Jackson is pretty much like that in real life too. He is the ultimate deadpan, it's incredible. Real funny guy.
The episode definitely felt like it flew by really fast. I didn't want it to end!
My favorite part was when Vicki asked Drunk Janet what Michael kept whispering into her ear:
Vicki: What was Michael whispering into your ear?
Janet: Something, something, Vicki, something, something.
Vicki: I knew he was talking about me!
...Then later we find out what Michael was really whispering into Janet's ear:
Eleanor: So, what did you actually whisper into Janet's ear?
Michael: Something, something, Vicki, something, something.
The payoff was so wonderful!

Michael didn't look too pleased when they mentioned The Good Place. I think he's expecting them to remain there.
My guess is that Michael will ban the other demons and end up trying to stall. He'll want his new friends all to himself and will manipulate things to keep it to just the five of them... and Janet, she's not a being, after all.

The new episode hasn't happened yet. We are current with the US. It will be added tomorrow morning, a few hours after it airs over there.
The last episode we have (2x08) is the last that has aired so far.
The new episode (#8 Leap of Faith) has been on UK Netflix since last Friday.
I really wish I had that Bortles! gif during last week's playoffs.
Oh what! I though the new episode was Episode 9? I figured Netflix would give me a notification when one of my watched shows got a new episode, but apparently not. Thanks.
