This was a great episode, though full of the "well, that's convenient" shortcuts this show always requires suspension of disbelief about (for example Daisy and Simmons openly talking about Fitz when realistically there'd be 100% audio and video surveillance)

But yeah, between this season and last this is absolutely my favorite "light sci-fi" show since Stargate.

It's even in one of Stargates old time slots lol. God that was when Syfy was good. Warehouse 13, Star gate, Haven, etc

This episode several things I liked. And Sinara lives, yes! And that sudden attempted kill, goddamn

The writers are more savage than the Kree. Having Fitz propose while Jemma was deaf, c'mon now

There has never been any sign toward there being audio or video surveillance on that station though. The kree look at us as rats or roachs and wouldn't waste there time on watching us. They think we're that far beneath them and not a threat. There arrogance is their downfall.

Fuuuuuuuck that was a good episode. That body count - SHIELD showrunners don't play.

Once again, Mack gets the best lines of the night.

That was just one example though; every episode of this season asked us to overlook implausible stuff, like why are these incredible smart, well-trained Agents doing everything in their power to draw attention to themselves without understanding the world they are in yet.

It's fine though, it's that kind of show, it's more interested in being a fun romp, and in being reasonably consistent on the emotional lives of the characters, than on being super-tightly plotted.

My recording cut off right after Enoch walked in the elevator, what'd he say in there? And did anything happen after that?

Enoch is incredible. His delivery and the mysteriousness of who he is makes him one of my favorites.

I almost completely forgot Deke wasn't in this episode at all. Dude's going to be pissed that Tess is dead.

Alright Agents, it's time to sleuth.

https://screenrant.com/agents-shield-100th-episode-clark-gregg/

In addition to venturing into uncharted territory for the Marvel series, season 5 will also mark Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s 100th episode, which is expected to air in March. Little is known about the 100th episode, though Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb did say it will feature a "significant event." Now, Gregg offers his own tease about what fans can expect from the milestone episode.

In an interview with Screen Rant about directing the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode 'Fun & Games', Gregg said fans can expect, "Some big things. A very big thing," in the 100th episode. Gregg went on to offer a hint at how fans will react to that "big thing" in the show's milestone episode: "A very big thing that has been hinted at in my episode that will – if you're like me, it will destroy any long term fans of the show."

Time to pour over the episode and figure out how the Avengers are showing up in 100.

I have no idea what the hint was.

However I forgot to mention that having the red box behind the Marvel logo fading in was a very cool touch I don't think anyone has mentioned yet.

Watching the preview clip for next week and spotted
Kasius (spelling?) opening his eyes. Looks like Jemma didn't slice his throat near hard enough. Can't say Fitz is any better though, what with him having to use an icer instead of an actual gun that can take people out permanently.

Didn't get the bored posts before Fitz showed up, definitely don't get them now.

This is one of the most "earned" relationships I've ever seen in any media...

Even the criticism of Fitz being too pressed/creepy has long been answered sufficiently since Season 3, at least for me anyways.

Fantastic episode as usual, Fitz is just too damn good in this role.

I'm also loving Kasius, not only have they done a great job of making him a despicable piece of shit but also a great job of fleshing out his character and backstory to understand his motivation.

They have also had some great interactions with him too. The snide retorts he gives to people are always very entertaining and seeing Fitz get in his face and make Kasius almost respect him for his ruthlessness was great too.
