She was sexually harassing him for attempting to force him to kiss her, no?

I feel like the internet should be enraged for this person trying to make some sort of half-assed point and forcing themselves on the guy, but yet it's the opposite. So weird.

Not to turn the statement on its head or anything, but it's his body and he can choose who interacts with it and how? This seems like a non issue. Unless he was like "Trans, ewwie!" or something.

I don't think he or anyone should be forced to kiss someone if they don't want to. Even if its in the script of a "reality show".

Even if he did say that, it's his prerogative what he does with his body and who he kisses. Seems like a big ol non-issue.

You can't force anyone to kiss or date, regardless of their sexual orientation. Why is Ginuwine on Celebrity Big Brother? I am confused with that, thought he was well off.

If the roles were reversed - if Ginuwine tried to force a kiss from another person - people would be rightly mad at Ginuwine, so he imo is in the right and the person demanding a kiss is wrong. Doesn't matter sex or gender or race or whatever, don't be creepy with people you don't know.

Kinda insane in 2018 this is a point that has to be argued about.

Absolutely ridiculous to think about, but to be fair, when I checked out twitter, I saw way more people defending Ginuwine.

I'll defend the rights on trans men and women every where and anywhere but not here. You being a women, trans or otherwise, doesn't entitle you to have everyone like or be attracted to you. I really wish people would stop blaming other for being -phobic just because someone doesn't want to fuck them.

I saw this and thought he was very respectful in how he dealt with a very awkward situation. My girlfriend and I agreed that it was pretty unfair on him and felt a bit sorry for the guy.

This reads like typical reality TV show fuckery with the added complication of trans issues being involved.

People trying to make this an outrage may have stretched themselves a bit too far. This story has been doing the rounds the last few days. And thankfully people aren't biting.

He was courteous and said no thank you.

Seems like she was trying to playfully (but inappropriately) put a cap on their exchange, but he was obviously uncomfortable with it.

Another possible subject header could have been, "Ginuwine has the right to do whatever Ginuwine wants to do. Stop shaming him."

Just to make sure people are reading the article, here's the exchange:

"I'm a woman, right," said Willoughby. "Forget about any 't's, or anything in front of it. So, on that score, you would date me, wouldn't you?"

"Not if you told me you was trans," Ginuwine admitted.

So yes she sexually harrassed him and that's way worse, but pertaining to the content of the discussion so far, it does seem like he wasn't attracted to her because he knew she was trans. And while I agree that this is his right as a person with control over his own body, it's along the same lines as someone who doesn't want to date a black person because they are black. If you and to what degree you find fault with that (or not) you should find fault with this.

This is an awful comparison. It's more akin to someone who doesn't want to date someone of X gender.

He doesn't have to kiss her if he doesn't want too. Not a big deal. Rejections happen. Move on.
