they just sold 20 mill consoles WW in a year... something tells me they'll be ok..
I'm honestly surprised to see Xbox outsell PS4 in December but yeah interesting results.

Oh, you also forgot the main points for the next 26 pages:
- Xbox has no games
- Halo/Gears/Forza machine
- every game is available on PC too lol useless console
- Sony and Nintendo are destroying Microsoft anyway lol
- GAAS/lootboxes/something something Sony and Nintendo do single player games
- MS should go third party

Era sure likes getting tilted whenever something positive happens to Xbox, atleast there is a community on here that actually either enjoy the devices or dont see the need to post crap for no real reason.
Nice. Seems MS sold a crazy amount of consoles. Congrats to Nintendo too on making such a unique console...will finally be getting my switch this month.

Good news for my two favorite consoles! Sony made some great decisions around Black Friday in terms of pricing, but I think December just had a discount on the Pro right?
Yea...this post is just as bad as the "pr spin" ones. Those posts were called out because of the rhetoric. Don't do the same thing. We hope for more level headed responses in threads like these. :)
Calling out MS "fanboys" in ERA at least now feels odd, especially how this thread and the PUBG one feels like a cesspool of salt which is quite embarrassing.

You can outsell in dollars, and NPD reports revenue as well as units.
Is not clear to me, but I guess I'll have to wait for someone with inside information to clarify if he refers to revenue or units. I've seen other times Microsoft has spoken in revenue numbers. Not that I care though, lol, but some people are waaaaay to serious here, next some will call me a Sony fanboy.

NPD should be interesting. Sony dropped the Pro to $349 nationwide for a week in December and also had the 1 TB discounted only for a week as well.

MS having the One S for $199 for almost all of December seems to have pushed them over the edge if these numbers are true.

Or the second part where he says "Switch had most overall units"?

Honestly, it gets extremely toxic so i wanted to compile some posts as reference. Its unfair that if people who want serious discussion of positive Xbox news, we have to filter out so many attempts to derail conversation.

The spin was in the previous tweet, where he mentioned they had the best share by ignoring the switch. But any call out of a spin is met with desperation to dismiss it. This indeed really needs to stop.
Too early to tell. First year had crazy advertisements and had a mainline Mario and Zelda both doing insanely well with the critics. Wii, however, appealed far more to non-gamers too, so there's that.
The tweet is obviously inferring the PS4 & Xbox One to be gen 8 conoles, doing so to make the company he works for look better. For our purposes it doesn't matter, for the next 1-2 years it'll be PS4/Switch/Xbox One and their potential revisions and that's that. The gen comparison doesn't do anything for us.
