I'd also like to second the request for Fatal Frame (port of 5, remaster/collection of older games, new game). I'd also love Dragon Quest Heroes 1+2 but i know that's Square Enix's call and not yours.

Their line up looks pretty great but I wished they could port Samurai Warriors 4 and 4-II and maybe a double pack of the previous 2 Atelier games from the Mysterious series.

Beyond that everything looks great and kind of excited to see what other titles they are going to bring!!!

... please be Hyrule Warriors 2 but now focused on the portable titles =P

You guys have done a phenomenal job loading the Switch with content, and are easily one of the big third-party supporters right now. Keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to whatever you have in store.

(Also it's amazing you're here. X) )

You guys are all in for a treat when Pirate Warriors 3 hits. Definitely check it out because due to the diverse cast of One Piece and how faithfully they stayed true to the characters, you get a really diverse Musou game with tons of fun abilities.

I'm having fun with Fire Emblem Warriors. Thanks for doing that one! Tiki is hilarious to play, and the History mode is better than Adventure mode in Hyrule Warriors, I think. I will get that Anna yet!

Oh, and full soundtrack CDs in collectors editions are always welcome. Been listening to that quite a lot in the last week.

That's quite the list. I would have liked to try Nobunaga's Ambition or Romance of the three kingdoms, but, firstly, they are very pricey and, secondly, my Japanese is far from sufficient to understand anything of it. I'm going to import Atelier, though. I played Atelier Lise on DS and it was pretty fun (I spent most of my time derping in the tent xD).

I'm a Musou games fan and it's a pain each time I see DW7 Empires on Switch... JP only ! I enjoyed it on PC. I wish they try to port DW9 too.

I bought FE Warriors. I'm over 100 hours and still love it ! I want to clone myself to be able to play both Mario & FEW.

I'm very excited about Attack on Titan 2, I didn't try the first one but definitively will play this one.

I'm happy to see KT support, I was worried because it was not a success on Wii U. The only thing I regret each time is the lack of enjoyable multiplayer. It's uncomfortable atm on FE Warriors... Big lack of fluidity, hellish clipping, and split screen... Ewww I never liked it on a musou. I want so badly a local multiplayer (not on the same console, I mean local connection). Or why not an online multiplayer.

Whoa this is some next level meta stuff happening. Can you hint about the games that's likely not be localized? Or would that be breaking some NDA?

I'll buy whatever musou KT releases on Switch in Europe. And all the Ateliers. And Romance of the Three Kingdoms/Nobunaga's Ambition if those ever get localized.

You have been great this generation, on the Switch and elsewhere.

I hope your proactiveness is amply rewarded.

I'm totally obsessed with Fire Emblem Warriors right now and I've never really been into Musou games before. I think the FE license is helping a lot. Probably going to pick up some of those DLC packs when they release.

Nothing else of theirs catches my eye. The Atelier series is beyond stale at this point and none of their other series seem interesting.

So, as someone who tried to hop on to the train back when Durante was singing its praises, I had a lot of trouble getting into Escha and Logy.

What is generally recommended as the 'peak' of that series that would be good for someone who wants to see why fans love this series?

Some people would say that it was the Arland Trilogy (Rorona, Totori and Meruru) but those games are a bit more harsh for the casual player than the Dusk series (Ayesha, Escha & Logy, Shallie) because the previous trilogy was a bit more strict about the time and resource management aspect which many consider the core of the series.

Me? I only played Ayesha and Escha & Logy (I have Shallie still waiting for me) and love both games the characters and the tone of the stories.

Also DAT music.

Hi Dmiz, Honestly that question is hard to answer as a lot of fans of the series have differing opinions of what they consider their favorite. Not a fan of the time crunch and feel like playing at your own pace? You might prefer Atelier Sophie over the rest as it allows you to do things at your own pace. Prefer the character development and relationships of characters? Escha and Logy would be your thing. Want a more open world with some time crunch (only for the first part) and more at your pace alchemy then Atelier Firis might interest you more. Fans of the series tend to love the exploring, resource gathering and creating the best items through alchemy. Depends on what you're looking for in the Atelier world :)

Depends on why you couldn't get into Escha and Logy. The peak was Meruru tho because it was difficult enough

I stopped at Meruru. My personal favorite is Totori. But yeah that whole trilogy is pretty solid and the series started going downhill after that.

Needs more Nobunaga and Romance on distant shores.

Last one probably bombed so hard it burrowed down to the center of the earth. But I'd take a straight port of that, even. Game is too good to not be in the hands of a bigger audience.

I lol'd at this.

Especially because it is true.

Yeah, fair to say Koei and Ninty are tight these days, along with Ubisoft and Bethesda (god that one's still weird, lol).

The last fatal frame I believe is the most sold version, or atleast thats what someone who posted a chart proving it said, which shocked me.

I really wish those musou games would come stateside. I'd love to play them at home, but also just take to work with me. I usually prefer story driven games, but sometimes when I'm too busy to focus on a story, mashing the button type games are still a fun diversion.

I'm nitpicking, but just to avoid confusion, it's Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate that are ported, despite being called Shin Sengoku Musou 7 and Musou Orochi 2 in Japan.

New Musou games
New IPs
New Ninja Gaiden
New Rygar
New Fatal Frame

And localize them for Western audiences.

Why are most of the games that were localized for PS4, Steam, etc getting passed up for a Western release on Switch?

Thanks, everybody! I'll take a look around to see if I can find a copy.

Something blasphemous that I'd like to say: I actually don't find the music in GUST games to be that good, especially relative to Falcom... but I feel like that might be (very bad, depending on who you ask) taste.

KT has been working closely with Nintendo for quite a few years now. Honestly it made me a little salty when people suggested Smash Bros characters for pretty much every other major third party studio, except for them.

I'm really excited to dive into Fire Emblem Warriors! After that, I think the only title out of those I'll be picking up is Atelier. I still need to finish Atelier Firis on PS4, actually...

I dunno about anyone else but if you listed the games that were very unlikely and just rip the bandage off quickly is probably be happier with the knowledge lol

So many musou games! It's funny really, I don't think I would ever get hooked on the genre if it hadn't been for Hyrule Warriors. Now that Fire Emblem Warriors also proved to be a very fun game, I'm thinking maybe I should venture further down the rabbit hole. What other musou-style game would you guys recommend?

Gundam. The pacing of the action in the gundam series is pretty great. But it all depends on what elements you like out of musou games in the first place. These games thrive off of series fanservice more than anything. One the other hand, I was only a casual gundam fan until I played the musou games and then I got deeper into the series.

Thanks for Fire Emblem Warriors guys, I'm still playing it on a daily basis! :D

That said, about these ports, a Dragon Quest Heroes localization would be awesome! I've been holding on importing it because it's a relatively text-heavy game. Though yeah, this is probably SE's call.

I'll grab AOT 2 on Switch but I'm worried about the performances. The gameplay revealed yesterday was quite rough performance wise (big FPS drops, background elements popping out of nowhere despite being really close to the player,..) despite being on PS4 (maybe PS4 Pro).

This list is getting incredible! The non localized ones are annoying though, I can see at least 4 I'd buy day one if they weren't Japan only...

I (and a couple of friends) are still holding out for a Hyrule Warriors re-release. That game was excellent, especially the Adventure Mode. Would be nice to see a definitive Switch version with all the DLC and perhaps even the addition of the content from the 3DS version, especially for the DLC characters who had no story stuff on Wii U.

I was passing by this thread and saw your comment. Looks like your wish was granted! Ahaha

Add me to the list of those who want localizations of the Warriors games. Would buy em all without hesitation.

P.S. also loving FE Warriors. And really looking forward to Hyrule Definitive :)
