RE2 Remake is going to be incredible!

I really hope that Capcom also announces RE4 and REmake for Switch. It would be a crime not to put those titles on the system (especially RE4).

When Capcom says Resident Evil im there day 1, be it REmake or even RE:Gaiden.

Honestly i'd buy UC and DC again if Capcom made PSVR versions.

Dunno if I'd enjoy it nowadays. I've played the original RE1 on PS1 and it felt ancient. But I played REmake for the first time on PS4 last year and it was incredible. That's why I'm especially excited for RE2make. I want more of that classic RE but with a modern take.

I am worried that the collection mentioned is just Mega Man X (which we know is coming), and not a Resident Evil legacy collection.

Oh man, imagine if the "compilation" was remakes of both RE2 -and- RE3. Imagine if they expanded the scope of the project to show us the entire Raccoon City saga in one remake. :-O

This would be great as 3 and CV would be the only main ones that still need attention. When 2 remake hits we'll have all the other main RE games up to date and available on modern consoles and it'll drive me nuts to not have those.

I know CV is a PS2 Classic but fuck that

I don't know, if there's a stream its too late to announce.

I really hope we see something about RE2 Remake in sunday, but they are too quiet.

If we got another "beginning hour" I would be so happy, it was a lot of fun theorizing and trying ti figure out ways to solve the demo, honestly one of the coolest game experiences I ever had.

I hope this is related to REMake 2, as RE2 is my favorite of the classic series. However, and this may be a stretch: the framing of the photo is interesting in that it evokes the famous NX leak from a while back that turned out to be fake? Where people were divining that it must've been taken at Massive because of a reflection of a tree in the desk? I think REMake 2 is the most likely scenario, I'm even hoping for it more than anything. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't end up being RE7 on Switch, considering the presence of the finger.

I would be fine with this if they made some sort of "5th survivor" mini campaign, but I wouldn't want it in the main game for all the boss fights and stuff. I also wouldn't mind more Zeno clash type boxing stuff. End of Zoë I enjoyed, Not a Hero I did not.

Rumors are on DMCV as the early 2019 title.
Their only other non-port title for their next fiscal (March 2018 to March 2019) is Mega Man 11.
RE2make in Sept-Oct if revealed now would fit perfectly.

Also would give us a similar E3 to last year (One game already revealed (MVCI) and one to be revealed (MHW))

RE3 is the only one with 480p backgrounds. And even then, the foreground components, ie basically anything that can be walked behind, are stuck at 240p.

Still, if they ever do continue porting classic RE, the PC versions are probably the ones they'll use.

REmake 2 is announced in a few days with a September release date. Around the same time MVC:I was released last year.

The RE7 Gold version with all the DLC already came out last December. Also as mentioned earlier, there's no reason for the Dev team to be in the US unless it's something big (and RE2's 20th anniversary is in 2 days). The dummy finger is probably there just to fuck with people's heads.

Just give me anything that isn't first person and I'll buy it. I love Resident Evil but cannot handle first person horror games, trying to play though the Daughters dlc for seven as I write this and it is too much.

EDIT: seriously, have to sneak past Marguerite now. Sneaking and horror!? This shit is playing up to all my anxieties in video games and I cannot cope with it. Fuck this game, third person Resi is the only way to go!... I hope

That's strange that they rendered the foreground components at a lower res than the background ones in RE3. Yeah I know the PC version of RE has 240p backgrounds. I own the disc and can't even get it working on windows 10. RE3 does but the control mapping is messed up, you can't use diagonal inputs.

Regardless, squareenix felt fine trotting out FFVII and FFIX with higher resolution character models against low resolution backgrounds like that, so I'm sure the pc resident evils are more than up to snuff quality control wise.

Wouldn't that saga also include the Outbreak scenarios? I mean, they exist amongst the events of Jill, Claire, Leon, and Hunk.
