I have ADHD but learned to live with it, it keeps me happy easy and excited/interested for things. I can talk alot or have hyper moments but it's not extreme. Only big negative is bad focus and bad concentration.
I don't mind being small height wise btw i love it if a longer dude would carry/lift me:3 or a cute girl that's the same height as me or a bit smaller is also pretty nice. So honestly i never cared being below average height wise. So it never hindered me as a male.
This is generally my experience at clubs. Going as a group makes it much more fun and I find eases the burden of 'needing' to find somebody to go home with. It also makes it easier for other people to get involved and dance with you, since they're just dancing with a group of people having fun rather than having to approach an individual.
The one exception I've found has been in the smoking area of clubs (I'm not sure if these are present elsewhere, as smoking is banned in nightclubs here necessitating the need to have an outdoor area for people to smoke) where, without the music people generally stand around chatting and can be a decent way to talk to people (even if you don't smoke, as I don't).

Honestly, your best bet is to try to put him out of mind. That doesn't mean stop being his friend, but what that experience meant to you clearly isn't what it meant to him. There's no real way to change his mind, and although you may want to try to make him see things your way, you'll be fighting a losing battle. As difficult as it may be, you'll be doing yourself a favor by looking at the value of your friendship as it is - a friendship - and moving on to others who will be able to provide you with a more intimate connection.

Yes, we have all been there, more or less. Just try to have fun, meet new people, date, have sex, just live your life and you will get over him fast. But if you keep thinking about him, not engaging with other people because of him etc., that shit is gonna hunt you for years (been there) and it's just absolutely not worth it, because he can't give you what your heart desires.
