Oops! For some reason I thought he had gone to Cameroon.
Martino went down a few slots for me after his comments on the whole RBA thing. He's still definitely better than Wynalda though.
Yea. I'd give him the technical director job in a heartbeat, so long as he recognizes how US Soccer has been ignoring the Hispanic community in this country, but his comments on that game have given me a bit of pause on the top job.Fuck. I missed his remarks on the subject. We played like shit. Don't try to play to both sides, Martino. FOH with that bullshit ughughughuguhgh.
I'm guessing Gulati's hand-picked successor who is the current head of SUM isn't the one who's going to be making the tough choices.Yea. I'd give him the technical director job in a heartbeat, so long as he recognizes how US Soccer has been ignoring the Hispanic community in this country, but his comments on that game have given me a bit of pause on the top job.
I think whoever gets that job needs to be willing to be straight up the whole time. An unwillingness to look at the issues with and surrounding the team clearly are why we're missing the World Cup. Arena got too full of himself after the Panama beatdown (and got out-coached to an embarrassing degree as a result) and Klinsmann never should have been given the renewal he was (and should have been fired six months earlier than he was). That's all not even getting into the youth stuff. Holy crap, there's just so much wrong there it isn't even funny.
Going forward, whoever gets the job needs to be able to say the unpopular thing and do what needs to be done. Anyone who isn't willing to do that is just going to be more of the same.
That's the issue. No matter who we get it's either going to be more of the same or the soccer version of MAGA.I'm guessing Gulati's hand-picked successor who is the current head of SUM isn't the one who's going to be making the tough choices.
A New Hope Solo (lol)That's the issue. No matter who we get it's either going to be more of the same or the soccer version of MAGA.
Wynalda is basically soccer Trump: an utter moron who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the job.
Martino doesn't seem to be willing to look at the team clearly and say we played poorly when we did.
The SUM lady, whose name I forget, is probably going to be a continuation of Gulati.
So at this point I say pick your poison. I might complain about him but I'd still go with Martino 10 times out of 10 given the choices.
Fuck. I missed his remarks on the subject. We played like shit. Don't try to play to both sides, Martino. FOH with that bullshit ughughughuguhgh.
JSB is one of my favourite soccer personalities and she running with this college frat-whitedudessingingthenword-coorslight-omfgbro "sports coverage" called Barstool sports. This dumbass in the tweet is claiming Chicago sports too.
Fucking dumb ass.
BASED EALES, BASED TATA, BASED ARTHUR
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Very good signing for you guys, although maybe a little pricey. Even though he'll be playing for a rival, I'm always rooting for Peruanos to succeed!
Weeeeeeeeeeee got a winger!

The rounds one and two of MLS SuperDraft 2018 presented by adidas will be held in Philadelphia on Friday, January 19 at 11 AM ET (watch on mlssoccer.com). Rounds three and four of the SuperDraft will be held via a conference call at 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, January 21.
This has been confirmed. Something of an odd move since he wasn't an international player, though I guess they might as well move him if they're not going to use him.
Shoutouts to the Sons of Ben and RBNY contingent chanting "Save the Crew" at the SuperDraft. You guys rock.
1.2 million is a ton to give up, they better sign him to an extension. Of course they have still need a 10 so damn badly
A front three of Fafa, CJ, and King David ain't bad.
