The Good Place S2 |OT| Well, We Forking Here Now - Thursdays 8:30/7:30c

I loved this episode, really enjoyed seeing them bond, especially Chidi and Eleanor ("You're such a nerd.")

Also I love how Janet is aware she's attractive.

Can't wait to see what the real bad place is like.

I laughed at "69 or 420" and the acknowledgement right after.

Agreed that tonight was a really heartwarming episode. Hopefully with the gangs new destination, we get the return of Adam Scott.

The Optimus Prime joke got me pretty good.

Also loved the dancing scene (damn, Jannette can really move without really moving).

Great episode. This show is an absolute treat.

I felt genuine sadness when we saw the town disappear at the end.

I forgot to note that Chidi's speech about his brain being like a fork in a garbage disposal was amazing. Nailed the sensation of repetitive/intrusive thoughts brought on by anxiety.

I knew as soon the episode started they were going to stall, but a send-off episode was necessary.

"The real Bad Place was the friends we made along the way?" lmao

This show is great and the most recent episode was really solid.

Got an unexpected laugh out of Eleanor referring to the neighborhood as a "shirthole" given the news cycle yesterday, then cringed with the "what kind of place wouldn't welcome immigrants" line.

This show just blows through story like nobody's business, though.

Ted Danson is doing a masterclass in acting on this show.

This might be my favorite role of his.

Yeah, Ted is absolutely amazing. I am a big fan of his evil laugh.

Michael receiving his gifts and talking about each one reminded me very much of this scene from red dwarf:

In terms of setting and mannerisms

the frozen yogurt stuff from jason at the beginning was hilarious

What a great episode. Genuinly funny and heartwarming. Can't wait to see 'The Bad Place'. Wouldn't suprise me if it isn't all that bad as it sounds. Wouldn't even suprise me if Michael is still toying with them, though it would be weak to repeat the same twist.

I would love them to end up in the Good Place in the finale, and have season 3 take place there, but again reverting expectations in what the Good Place actually is. (The real Good Place could very well be hell for these 4)

The 69/420 joke and the low five cracked me up, but the "the real bad place was the friends we made along the way" line had me in stitches. Michael is trying so hard, dammit!

The line about refugees got a nice cackle out of me, too.

This show is so damn good. I'm so glad it's definitely getting a third season.

It's so weird hearing actual swears in this show.

That Pirates of the Caribbean 6 jab a couple minutes ago was all sorts of hilarious.

Those robot things in the exhibit were really unsettling when they moved.

Her accent was amazing.

It's a testament to the show that they can do an episode like this, largely focused on jokes then have Michael make the emotional sacrifice at the end and it works so well.

Jake Jortles is the hero we don't deserve.

Eleanor asking Michael why he smells loud and confusing was great.

Also the 1st people exhibits - 1st guy who said I need a vacation from my vacation and 1st guy who said "Well actually, " to a woman.

That was a great episode. Everyone was on point, especially Shawn and Jason.

They definitely were buy I kind of liked the design that they had

Tahani was amazing in this episode.

Fuck this show for being so good. I can't believe I actually like it more than Community. I didn't think that was possible.

The entire cast is just perfect from Michael to Eleanor to goddamn Sparks Nevada.

The bit about the guy from Girls Gone Wild had me doubled over. This show is so goddamn brilliant.
