Phenomenal OT. I thought it would be weird swapping back and forth from Odyssey and Wolfenstein but Mario hates Nazis, too.
Apparently the opening of The New Colossus gets new players up to speed.
But good lord, man! Play The New Order! It's one of the best games released in the past few years.
I own it! Just never got around to playing through it all. There are so many games to play these days it hurts.
It's a direct sequel, so of course it builds off the previous game(s). However, like most sequels, they're obviously going to make it such that you could play it without having played the first (or The Old Blood), but you might not get all the references/nuances if you're not familiar with the previous games.
Really hyped for this game. I wonder how similar the feel is to TNO or if it took some cues from Doom 2016
One early review said it was 15 hours long.
There's also been a few unfounded rumours flying around which say it's only 6 hours. I call bullshit on those, though. However, It could also be a case of early players rushing through the game on the easiest difficulty in order to be one of the first people to finish it. You could probably finish the first game in a similar time frame if you did that.
You are gonna feel pretty lost in the first hours if you didn't played TNO

Watched the first hour of gameplay and I'm sold on this game, but it'll have to wait till after Mario.
Wanna get this in the Target sale, but is anyone here waiting for the Xbox One X to play this game? Have the devs said anything about Scorpio support?
Yeah most of the time when you hear short play times spreading across the internet before reviews are out it's usually BS. Besides simply lying, there's too many possible factors to consider. What difficulty was it? Did they speed run it and skip exploring at all? I've seen this happen enough times that I try to ignore it now.
I cant wait for this game. A good, fun, completable game is exactly what I want as a counter to Destiny 2.
Nice. I personally liked the intro and first level of The New Order, but I know it was heavily criticized as the worst part of the game.
