Honestly don't want to hype myself into believing this is anything huge, but I can't help myself at this point. So who knows, maybe a RB sponsored invitational/tourney.

That outline shader is gorgeous. I wish that was the standard look. Also no lies detected on the Daredevil comment. Its criminal he aint in this series yet. Dude would be the next evolution of the Yatterman 1 pressure and full screen disjointed hitbox with those tethered stick tosses. Been wanting him for soooooo long.
It's insane that DD hasn't been in the series yet. He's always been popular, so it's not like he just got big like Star-Lord or Vision.
Also they really dropped the ball not having a moveset for Vision in this yet. Flight, intangibility, lasers, can become super dense for increased durability and strength...this guy sounds like he can go from Magneto to Colossus out there. He would be so easy to roll out stuff for. Ditto for post Cinema Verse Falcon as well considering he's got the drone, the guns, the tower shield wings, and the swoop in and out style of bullying. Guy was another fit for a majorly unique moveset standout that just didn't happen.
Season 2 has a lot of potential should it come about and thats even before considering the new possibilities with the Fox buyout adding FF, mutants, and Deadpool.
Yeah, Falcon would've been a great fit too. They said they added Firebrand because of him being unique with how he's constantly flying, they should've just made Falcon for that role.

Glad we're getting some support for the game. I think the best course of action now would be to relaunch the game like SFVAE. Update the graphics, add some more content & then have a roster similar to this, then I think they'd win over a lot of people.
Having all of this would make me like the game again. Unfortunately, revamping the art issues the game has would be far too costly and Capcom isn't gonna invest in that.
It's real, but very buggy. You can apply it to pretty much anything.

Meant to type this a while ago but I couldn't get in. Felt like checking in on the 20th anniversary of mvc1, the game that brought me into the series, the Capcom universe, and likely much of the marvel universe as well.
And wow. That variant. Though maybe it's just a placeholder or something since we have until April....

I really hope Capcom is working on a plan to breathe life into this game or at least try to turn public opinion. I got the game three months after launch, right around the time people were saying it was dying. I have to say I love this game. Yes it's not the prettiest thing but the game play is fun. I'm a scrub, but I enjoy the game and have had every game in the vs series. I don't want them to give up on it because it has so much potential. The comparison between DBZ and this was inevitable but why cant we have both. It's a great time to be a fighting game fan, I just hate when the community pits them against each other an seemingly wants to there to be only one.

Yeah, the gameplay is fantastic and the game certainly doesn't deserve to die but the FGC practically wants this game dead for some reason. It'll suck when people decide DBFZ doesn't have enough depth to it in a years time and we're stuck with no game like it since people want to abandon Mahvel so bad.
FGC sucks ass.
I think DBFZ will have plenty of depth, but I think people wishing it's a replacement for Marvel may not be happy. It plays pretty different. Some people will grow to love it, but I'm sure some will end up disliking how DBFZ feels.
I'm just going to play what I like. Some of you guys would rather discuss endlessly in circles on whether Capcom will support the game or not, when you could just freaking play the game instead (or play a different game if MvCI isn't your cup of tea).
I'm tired of coming into this topic and seeing people flip the fuck out on whether Capcom/Marvel will support the game or not and trying to decipher Capcom's terrible (and mostly lack of) PR.
If you want a game to be alive, support it your damn self. If you don't like playing the game, move on and play something else.
Yeah, people will still complain even if Season 2 is announced. This game is in a no-win situation because the FGC wants it to fail... for no real reason.
Any who, funny thing happened last night. I used Sigma's projectile reflect move (where he appears behind you) against Chaotic Flame (opponent wanted to chip me out) and my opponent all of a sudden talked (didn't know he had a mic) and was practically hyper ventilating and said "HE CAN DO THAT?".
Felt soooo good.
Yeah, it took me a while to really start using his counter. Sigma has a decent amount of moves but quite a few of them are of questionable use when you first start using him.
Also, watching too much House of Crack with Bum has given me the habit of shouting out Sigma's lines when I get his lvl3.
Yeah, DBFZ is a very different beast compared to Mahvel and anyone thinking it's a replacement is going to be disappointed.
I do play the game. I also post about the game on the internet. One does not preclude the other. I _like_ playing the game, so I want Capcom to support it, so I hang on their every word to try and find out if I they will. I can't support it more that I already have and I can't fucking make the game better. I watch all the streams that I can, I play the game whenever I can and, hey, I post in this thread when I have something to post.
My post wasn't really directed at you, but at people who clearly don't play the game but would rather drive by post and complain about the situation.
You can do both (like playing the game and want Capcom to support it), but I also think some of the complaints is beating a dead (lol?) horse at this point.

I would love to find out the outline shader became the visual standard in a patch update soon.
I like how things are bein designed pad friendly now. I swear between NRS and DBFZ this is the most comfortable time for folks to pick up the genre. Even MVCI did its best to lower execution heavy stuff thats better on a stick so that pad players can enjoy things easier too. Good design choice IMO. Folks dont need to design for arcades so why layout controls around that? Design for the equipment that most folks will have the title on.
