Seems it's the will of Steins;Gate--
Looks like I wasn't the only one thinking it.
Yep. Pretty surprised how much I care about RobinIt's amazing how they pretty much built up a character over a single episode that their death has impact. Kudos to the writers and director.
I was thinking the same thing. There are characters who have been around for 5 seasons and their death don't have as much impactIt's amazing how they pretty much built up a character and that character's relationships over a single episode that their death has impact. Kudos to the writers and director.

Then Squirrel Girl's music plays and she hits Thanos with a stunner.Yeah, Flint holds the world together while Daisy quakes apart Thanos.
This is probably the correct answer. Flint goes back in time with them thoughOr put the monolith back together so they can use it to go back to their time.
This.
Or maybe Flint is the yin to Daisy's yang and whatever she tried to do that backfired in the past involving the gravitonium needs Flint to balance the plan
Does Fringe count?Yeah, I don't think I've seen flashbacks to an alt timeline before.
Yeah, episode 10 airs a week before the Olympics starts unless something has changed.Isn't next week the last one before the STUPID OLYMPICS break?
EDIT: I just checked and I think there are two more before the break.
Did they do it? Never got into it.
So, umm....how the fuck is Robin "the most unexpected person from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s past"? We already knew she played a role in the episode just from last weeks ending. Not to mention that the character was already revealed as the reason for them time traveling. It's literally the least surprising character to appear in this episode outside of the main cast.Coulson and the team discover that the most unexpected person from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s past may hold the key to stopping Earth's destruction.
Just doesn't seem like the "most unexpected person from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s past". They at least would be reminded who she was considering she helped Fitz go to the future. It's not like anyone else from the present should be expected to still be alive.
Cause these descriptions are put out weeks in advance and they don't want to spoil the end of last week. So, umm....how the fuck is Robin "the most unexpected person from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s past"? We already knew she played a role in the episode just from last weeks ending. .
Okay, that's admittedly a good reason. I'm still mad about no Ward, but at least I can make sense out of it being done weeks in advance.Cause these descriptions are put out weeks in advance and they don't want to spoil the end of last week.
For example, the synopsis of episode 6 was "With Daisy's life on the line, an unexpected friend attempts to rescue her." Fitz was revealed at the end of episode 4, but they couldn't give that away in their press releases.
Good episode. What Fitz said in that flashback seems to confirm the stable time loop paradox. There's never been a timeline in which the time travel and apocalypse shenanigans didn't happen. Question is what's actually gonna cause a change this time around?
Or there was no time loop and Fitz was just talking out of his ass because he couldn't get the machine to work.My theory is that the stable time loop existed as long as Robin was alive -- because she was linked from both ends.
Yeah, I don't think I've seen flashbacks to an alt timeline before.
12 Monkeys on Syfy is on ANOTHER FUCKING LEVEL when it comes to alt flashback/forward/up/down/sideways. That show goes nuts with it, and is much better than it has any right to be.
Alright, so here's my theory. Flint can help get them back, but that doesn't prevent the time loop. Who's the one person that can for sure prevent the future from happening? Daisy. Daisy is going to either stay in the future, or sacrifice herself to prevent it.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
