The problem is that the torpedoes are so slow. They ever so slightly gain on them, so some other player just hits them with lasers and they're instantly gone.
It appears to be only fighters.

Just hope that the other team has bad Hero Pilots.
Got mine in a few hours after realizing that the other team was pretty bad and lmost everyone stayed.
Yoda and the Falcon are easy kills. Just depends on lag. Lag can really steal your kills in SA.

Adjusted down the sensibility a bit and it's much better. Now i'm returning to former glory it seems. Not sure if it was placebo or not.
I've had some success using the NT-242 as an anti-armor/air weapon, with the disruption shot mod anyway. If you're terrible at range like me though, the IQA is a lot more forgiving. Depending on the map, it's better to just contest the air yourself in a starfighter and armored vehicles can fend off airstrikes if they're not hit from directly above.
It's not even that hard to kill hero ships, even when there are good pilots. Especially slow ships like Falcon and Slave 1 or highly breakable ones like Yoda or the A-Wing. And most of the time they get focused by your allies anyways and you just need a bit of luck to get the kill-shot (or do assists also count?).
I'm such a dimwit, the HvV 50 kills trophy is just to get kills while you're marked and not the target?

It's killing their marked target while you are marked. Assists don't count naturally.

Hero ships are not difficult to defeat.....they just have massive health pools most of the time and its sheer luck to get the final killing shot. Assists should count I think especially for that trophy. Has there been any new information from the dev team on when Season 2 will be starting or the ETA for a new patch?
Oddly, enough the Rey-Falcon went from being my least useful hero-ship to use, to one my favourite ones to use once you get the right Star Cards. She's useful if you're trying to get objectives while also being a tank thanks to the middle ability and some support cards.
Meanwhile, the Slave I's seismic charges are hilariously useful when done right. I love it, mostly when you're on the side where you need to sink a lot of enemy tickets.

Rey is a good tank with the middle starcard at max. I got this from my pre-order. But I miss Han's offensive power. Seismic charge is probably the single coolest/fun special move in the whole game. I love that one, already loved in Episode 2. Sadly that's all Slave I is good for, lol.
Yeah, would love for DICE to give me a reason to boot the game up again. Don't even have the energy or desire to play the one game to get my daily login crate.

Are the daily login crates taking a while to actually show up for anyone else? I usually log into the game in the morning for the daily crate but for a while now, it doesnt show up until I boot up the game later in the evening.

So, I was getting some weird lag last night in GA. Checked the server location and I was getting shuffled between Sydney (76ms), Hong Kong (178ms) and Dubai (500+ms). Cool...
It didn't seem to matter if I'd manually force it back to Australia but I guess once you're in a particular server instance you're just along for the ride, no matter where it takes you... I could've quit out to look for a local server but I was on the better team and you don't get off that train.
I'd like to say getting put in matches in Dubai was the fault of the game but I'm beginning to suspect its a PSN thing because Overwatch used to put me in matches with UAE players at night as well. Regardless of the game, I'd love to know how playing on a server literally on the other side of the world is considered good matchmaking? :|
But back on topic, I also started using the El-Hefe last night though I can't tell if I like it or not. I've only got the recoil mod so far but I find it underwhelming. Statistically, the A280 with similar unlocks seems like it'd be the better choice at most ranges, though I've never used it in MP. From what I've read, opinions are mixed but I've always liked burst rifles in other games (EE-3 in BF2015, AN-92 and M16A4/M4 in Battlefield, etc.), and the A280-CFE is a beast that's let down by the Specialist's lack of HP.

I think it's under 'EA' in the menus. Dunno if you can see it in game though.
Yeah, EA Account in the Options. By default, it should be your local but sometimes it mysteriously switches.

I'm starting to step away too now that the season is over. Even with the lowered weapon unlocks, there's just way too much grind and poor reward distribution to keep up with the game while many of last year's best games and then some sit untouched.

So how is this game now? Specifically for PC?
I was tempted to purchase upon release, but all the negative press turned me away. Curious to know if the game is even worth getting at this point, or would I be sitting in matchmaking hell trying to find people to play with?

My biggest gripe has been the uneven matchmaking so this is excellent news if its a good update!!! Do we know when it will be live today?

It's a great game. You can get it for cheap now, it's worth the money.
