I can't stand Ami and Mizuki rubs me the wrong way, somehow.
I wanted to dislike Shion but he seems like a chill guy, actually.

Episode 4 had some good moments, Tsubasa and Nakamura playing catch was heartwarming tbh
Tsu-chan had some great throws honestly. It was nice to watch.
Shion is great. Really is like an Older Brother figure.
That goes both for him and Nakamura. Overall just loving this cast. Very family oriented thus far
Just watched the first 2 eps of Season 2 of BxGND...
Sho-kun, ;_; I'm gonna miss him. What a cliche way to go, writing a note on the board and getting Tecchan to drive him to the station.
Also Poor Tecchan, he's lost his two older brother figures now :(.
I loved their friendship between all of the original cast so it's sad that 3 have left now.
New girl seems cool though, Hana-chan.
(also yay at Tori-chan being on the show now)
But even here, Tsai surprises by refuting one of the central tenets of the show's success — the "realism" of the show.
"It's probably the least real reality show," she claims. The show was filmed "like a Japanese drama," in her words, meaning the cameras aren't around all day. Rather, the film crew comes around the house a few hours every night, or if there's a filmable excursion, like a group trip or a date. For the other 20 or so hours every day the cast is told "not to talk" since the cameras aren't there.
"But it's like, what are we supposed to do for the entire day? So, obviously, we did stuff and talked and then that caused a lot of tension between the people living there and the producers … so it was stressful."
It's true that the show isn't scripted (as they re-emphasize at the start of each episode), but the stories are edited and contrived. "It was non-scripted, but at the same time it was extremely scripted," Tsai explains. "We only filmed a couple hours a day and not even every day, so what you say is what they tell you to say, like 'talk about that thing' or 'talk about how you feel about that person.' So they don't tell us exactly what to say, but they know what kind of story they want to edit in their minds, so they force the content to be created." The editing afterwards also gave the producers a lot of power to manipulate the drama, which made watching the show afterwards unbearable for all its cast members.
That was obvious considering the shit that happened with Hayato and Riko in BIGITChttp://wwd.com/eye/people/lauren-tsai-model-terrace-house-netflix-sketches-11092538/amp/
Just saw this article about Lauren on reddit.
Also just finished episode episode 5 of BxGND (might watch some more tonight depending on how I feel). I love how the original 6 seem to have that fist bump thing even when meeting up with Sho/Ma-kun after they have left.
edit: also I just saw this:

It was apparently deleted from the original website that it was posted on though.
I don't know about everyone else, but yeah, she's terrible.Finishing up Aloha State and I can't believe Cheri. Jesus Christ, what a piece of work. Is she as hated amongst everyone else as she is in my head?
Yeah don't worry. She's legit the worst member they ever had.Finishing up Aloha State and I can't believe Cheri. Jesus Christ, what a piece of work. Is she as hated amongst everyone else as she is in my head?
Honestly? No.I'm currently in the last episodes of "Boys and Girls in the City". Do i miss anything if I skip Aloha State?
You miss a case study of why this show could never work in America.I'm currently in the last episodes of "Boys and Girls in the City". Do i miss anything if I skip Aloha State?
I've just finished "Boys and girls in the city" and just kept watching the first ep of "Aloha State" and I have to say that I don't find it that bad.
It's a bit boring but I blame that on the people and not the environment or the show itself. Gets better though.
Anyone know when OND airs in the UK? Sat down to start watching it and was horrified to see it wasn't available yet

I don't even find them all that boring. That kid with the ukulele seems nice and Lauren seems interesting, too.
They were nice but boring imo lol. Gets better once like the first two people leave. Then ukelele kid...oh man.........catfish episode...it hurts to watch
I didn't like Ami until this episode, but now I think she's great. Those replies were hot fire.Yuudai is getting crucified over on /r/TerraceHouse (episode 6 spoilers): https://www.reddit.com/r/terracehou...ilers_terrace_house_opening_new_doors_part_1/
Lots of interesting comments, which made me realize stuff I hadn't noticed about him and the rest of the season. Holy shit. Ami is rude and annoying but that guy is a real embarrassment.
Yusuke sucked with women but he tried hard and came out of the show with a positive image (IMO). Yuudai gets advice all the time but he won't listen.I haven't seen the episode yet but I'm feeling bad for Yuudai. Not everyone is great with women and he's still young :(.
