Tsu-chan had some great throws honestly. It was nice to watch.
Shion is great. Really is like an Older Brother figure.

I miss the kid from Aloha State but I like the new one in the panel now.

The goodbyes were hard to watch. ;_; Momo crying and Sho-kun breaking down.
And then the letter and Tecchan's crying. ;_; that letter was rather sweet of Ma-kun.

Sho-kun, ;_; I'm gonna miss him. What a cliche way to go, writing a note on the board and getting Tecchan to drive him to the station.
Also Poor Tecchan, he's lost his two older brother figures now :(.
I loved their friendship between all of the original cast so it's sad that 3 have left now.
New girl seems cool though, Hana-chan.

I'm doing this too and we're more or less at the same episode. I'm trying to watch as quickly as possible so as to get to the part where they integrate the rest of the viewing cast.
It's kinda crazy how many people from the show ended up going on Japanese TV after this tho. Imai Hana was huuuuuuuuuuuge.

That was obvious considering the shit that happened with Hayato and Riko in BIGITC
I would think too that it would be exacerbated with the way they lived in AS vs the other series. If the housemates are all working, getting home at 10+ at night, it's a lot easier to get what you need recorded.

Or you can just skip all the "house parts" to see the panel, cause they had some good moments.

It keeps getting better and better, what a great cast. They all work so well together, makes up for Aloha State and the cardboard cutouts we had.
Yuudai getting lectured by drunk Mizuki while calm and collected Nakamura was here was a good moment tbh.
They all want him to succeed so it's understandable that they kinda dogpile on him but I don't think they were harsh at all. Should be a nice arc to follow.
Also, more Tsubasa being sweet and pure <3

It is weird watching this at the same time I'm watching BXGND but they're complementing each other really well right now!
I was surprised at how raw they can already be together after 5 weeks. It's a good sign. I really wanted to know, though, if Yuudai *actually* bought anything or if he was just flirting with the idea. Because to me, consoling himself that he "could get something if he wants to" is probably just him desperately trying to look more adult/independent than he is. I'm glad he doesn't seem bitter or broken up about it.
Also I am HERE for Shion & Tsubasa omg. That was just so sweet. I do hope she gets to be around a little bit more! Too bad she's a Blackhawks fan.... ;D

I liked Mizuki in this episode. I love a girl who can get drunk and speak her mind even if it bothers everyone else in the room, like Natsumi.

I've just finished "Boys and girls in the city" and just kept watching the first ep of "Aloha State" and I have to say that I don't find it that bad.
It's a bit boring but I blame that on the people and not the environment or the show itself. Gets better though.
I don't even find them all that boring. That kid with the ukulele seems nice and Lauren seems interesting, too.

I didn't like Ami until this episode, but now I think she's great. Those replies were hot fire.
I haven't seen the episode yet but I'm feeling bad for Yuudai. Not everyone is great with women and he's still young :(.

Yusuke sucked with women but he tried hard and came out of the show with a positive image (IMO). Yuudai gets advice all the time but he won't listen.
I can't remember much about Yusuke outside of his music stuff...
huh, I guess Aloha State early on really is forgettable.
Still, Yuudai is young. I think/hope that the other two guys can be more hard on him and maybe it will help? I mean some people probably respond to tough love more than calm advice?
Gotta admit though, after reading all about this ep, I'm looking forward to it for the panel. Panel is always fun to watch :D
It's kinda dangerous I feel to backseat call him on the spectrum, but the complete lack of awareness and ability to read people makes me think he might be? He could also just be someone who was babied to an extreme and is not used to getting what he wants, or it could be both?
