Looks like lukewarm Wonder Bread.Crashing is the dry toast of comedian biographical sitcoms. lol
IIRC the TV show will follow the towns police force.I feel like the film already thoroughly explored the premise, so I don't think it needs expanded upon in a TV series. At least they've got the writers of the film on board though.
Doesn't need to be. I love it.I love Pete Holmes, but yeah Crashing isn't exactly daring television.
I've seen it. It's very very different. The only similarities at this point are the protagonist having autism (I also feel it's way more severe in the original but I've only seen a couple of episodes of the remake, portrayed quite differently), his relationship with the chairman of the hospital, and the relationship between the attending and the lawyer of the hospital.Has anyone actually seen the original Korean The Good Doctor?
I can't picture it being remotely similar and someone thinking " Lets remake that!"

It's good background noise at least, when nothing else is on.Don't hate on The Good Doctor, this show is amazing.
In this episode they have a patient that might be a terrorist because of chemicals in her body that either come from drinking, making chemical weapons, working in a water-treatment plant, or working in the pharmaceutical industry. But she's a muslim and doesn't want alcohol in her system and she's a school teacher, so it can only be the one remaining thing.
This show is garbage and it's amazing.
South America seems like a logical next season if they do one.Better Late Than Never is a fun travel show but idk if they could possibly do another season.
I do enjoy watching four living legends and Jeff Dye shoot the shit though.

Oh Black Lightning is a Netflix show here in the UK like Jane, iZombie and Crazy-Ex. Interesting.
Yikes! I wonder how long Fox will keep it on the air then. I doubt it'll go up from a 1.0.The Resident - 2.6
It also dropped like a rock to a 1.0 for its second episode, so Fox has to be super disappointed.
Some impressions in this thread: https://www.resetera.com/threads/trailer-for-tnt’s-the-alienist.8881/
General critical consensus seem to be: generic serial killer drama in pretty fancy costumes.Another Period (trashy downton abbey, comedy central style) and Drunk History are both back as of last night.
Anyone watch Alienist?
Guess which network it was?The network has ordered a pilot from Greg Berlanti's shingle called God Friended Me. Penned by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, with Berlanti and Sarah Schechter executive producing, the pilot offers to be an "uplifting" story about a lippy atheist whose "life is turned upside down when he is 'friended' by God on Facebook. Unwittingly, he becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him."
Winter break just destroyed the already challenged show The Brave, sad.Late again today. Sorry. It's still pretty busy at my work.
Monday night's ratings:
A television network orders show about an atheist who friends God on Facebook.

LOL, Flash is on a constant drop since the crossover.
What they're doing on the Flash is a bad plotline. It feels like the show doesn't want to just let its title character be a superhero. In season 3 he was moping and worrying about his lover dying. Now he's gone to prison and sitting out from crimefighting. I kind of get what they're trying to do, but they also clearly don't understand why people actually watch these shows. I'm not surprised at all that people are tuning out.LOL, Flash is on a constant drop since the crossover.
Meanwhile the show that actually got a bump is stupidly sitting out right now.

Sure, at the very least they are having fun this year and making it campy instead of the mopey soap opera it was last year. But Ralph is also a very acquired taste and I can see him not being very appealing to a portion of the audience. And the show ultimately is still called The Flash. People want to see Barry. Due to his predicament now a significant amount of each episode is dedicated to whatever he's doing in prison, which frankly isn't very interesting and has a very low chance of mattering long term.To be fair, that's why we have Ralph, right? At least we have a superhero doing superhero things while Barry's out of commission. The show would be a lot worse off without him.
What are thoughts on The Resident here? I feel like it takes unrealistic medical shows to the next level. Holy shit people are scummy here. The Resident - 2.6
Fail!

Give me a good main villain and characters that don't make such stupid and obvious mistakes.Between Buzz and Ratings I think BL will be alright
Season 5 of Flash needs a complete overhaul
They're there, maybe 1/3rd down?No Netflix? (Makes sense A&E and History is so high up... greenlighting all sorts of trash tv...)

Fascinating that MTV is at the very bottom since they sort of lead the reality tv charge.
Kreisberg is gone now. Let's hope some of the good writers want to come back now that the pos is not working there anymore. Flash might improve again.
