He is literally offensive to sensibilities.people hating on Abby.
How? he's the best newcomer in series to date. So much fucking fun.
Coming from Alex, I feel dirty playing Abigail. I'm so used to having to earn my wins, and now I'm stealing them.people hating on Abby.

Chun Li was the first character I tried to main.
IAL isn't too bad for me, one of her bnb's tho... can't get the sbk ender (crLP, stMP, crMK sbk)Chun Li was the first character I tried to main.
It didn't last long.
She's fun but I can't play a character where I'm utterly unable to consistently execute one of her main tools (instant air legs).
I actually kinda like it.Fighting a lot more Eds in AE and all I have to say about that is Ed's theme song is an insult to Street Fighter.
So watch me break out of this cageFighting a lot more Eds in AE and all I have to say about that is Ed's theme song is an insult to Street Fighter.

That's why SF5 on PC is the definitive version.I just use stage themes ever since Ring of Pride released. Imagine the rare opportunity to play a match there and then having to hear Laura's theme or something.
I'm convinced you have weird (and objectionably incorrect) taste in everything.
Don't feel bad, it's probably the most difficult bnb in the game. Took me months before I could get it. The cr.mk xx sbk is a very late cancel. You just have to get the timing right.IAL isn't too bad for me, one of her bnb's tho... can't get the sbk ender (crLP, stMP, crMK sbk)
Annoying.
1 for both to learn em.Thanks guys I'll start with Birdie/ Karin. It's so frustrating playing online against Ken/akuma and watching them do big damage combos with very little execution
Also, VTrigger 1 or 2 with Birdie/Karin?
He's this season Urien, getting a bunch of crazy buffs..I hated Abigail when I saw how stupid his hurtbox are.
Now his lights are faster so now he's at advantage after his Abigail punch
I like how this point can apply just as easily from a balance perspective as well haha. Can't wait to watch Poongko vs whatever top player picks up Abby at EVO grand finals this year lol.people hating on Abby.

Japan has been convinced that Gief is high tier since at least S2. Not sure if it's because they have Itazan over there or what.
Itazan would definitely have that effect.
Yeah, when I started to learn Abigail in early December (before the patch notes came out), I was thinking that it was a bad idea to learn a new character so close to an update. And once I realized how good he really was, I thought "there's no way he's coming out of this without some major nerfs"...

Make sure you are down charging as soon as you hit MP otherwise you've messed up the rest already. After the crMK hits, wait until you see her leg start to withdraw then do the sbk. It's much easier to do LK SBK, but the MK SBK is the one you want to be using.
If they did nothing but light standing kick, then it's just a turbo button set to LK. Just boosting for the XP you get from a loss. Pisses me off because they're wasting so much electricity for like a buck or two worth of FM.I encountered several mid level players that did nothing but light low kicks lol.
Is there a reason for that?
I mean what do they actually learn by doing that? yeah, it's fast and I can still counter it easily with a hard attack. Or is it they're trying to program their turbo buttons or something?
Oh, lol. Yeah I figured it's a turbo button because it was really fast. Ok.If they did nothing but light standing kick, then it's just a turbo button set to LK. I fight now I want change
And this the passing of the days
So get back and just get out my way
PUSH IT TO THE RED LINE!
Eh, I'd have to disagree with you there. Birdie's got kind of an 80's UK punk thing going on. Granted, it was more apparent in his Alpha design, but a lot of that influence still tracks in his current look.I mean, there's literally nothing about Birdie that's in any way representative of the UK (other than him throwing trash all over the ground I guess).
I think he's hilarious and a great addition, same as Laura.
I'm curious what spec your laptop is, but also wondering if you have a power profile setup on it that may be causing it to run poorly. I remember I used an older laptop perfectly capable of running SFIV but itwas stuck at 30fps (half refresh, in general) because of the default power profile, but even setting it to high performance didn't help. I had to make one from scratch.Ok wow I think this game needs some fixing on PC.
So I get pretty much 60 fps everywhere now with some tweaking, except the Akuma stage and another one I get 30-50 fps. The thing is on the stages where it works fine I have ~86% GPU usage, but on the "bad" stages it hovers only around 55% GPU usage, so no surprise it doesn't run well.
Can someone else with issues confirm this or at least check GPU usage?
In my experience demanding games should use like near 100% GPU in game, so clearly it looks like SFV is poorly optimized (if at all).

Laura's just designed to be titillating, and really has nothing going on in her design that's representative of where she's from at all. That said, I do really like playing her, and she was my main for a bit in Season 1. Gameplay-wise, I think she's a great addition.
I've never been a Birdie fan even going back to Alpha.
Yeah, that much is obvious. But my main point is that they really could've tried a hell of a lot harder when it came to her design. Her gi isn't even accurate in terms of what women fighters in Brazil would wear. Someone made that point a few pages back...She's wearing a Brazilian jiu jitsu gi in the colours of the Brazilian flag. It's hella obvious where she's supposed to be from.

It's really weird to single out Laura. Very few Street Fighter characters are accurate representations of their nationality and/or fighting style.Yeah, that much is obvious. Capcom artists pretty much began and ended their Laura research by watching footage of the Rio Carnival parade. They saw those scantily clad dancers and said "That's what Brazilian women dress like!"

Windows is fickle.
For what it's worth, I get rock solid 60 everywhere except for drops to the 50-55 range sometimes during match intros or endings - something I've always presumed is due to the game talking to the server before/after a match. This is both at 4K with a 1080ti and at 1080p on a 770.
You know I still haven't put more than 5 minutes into him. Did his trials when he first came out but nothing else.
