Unless I missed something, what gave the indication there was more then one evil doppleganger Kaia? I assumed she was just a random evil incarnation that controlled those monsters around her. She entered our universe/planet with some evil plan while unleashing monsters everywhere setting up the main plot for season one of Wayward Sisters if it gets picked up.

I saw no indication that there was more then one evil Kaia. Did I miss something?

Ratings were 1.82 million for the episode which ois pretty good and is higher then most of the CW lineup.

I will be surprised if the CW doesn't green light this when they gave a pilot commitment to a spinoff of The Originals (which is getting low ratings).

I feel Wayward Sisters has a decent amount of potential.

Where is Fiction and the rest of my Supernatural fanboys and fangirls?

It had some really cheesy moments, but I liked it and hope it gets picked up.

And it'll really suck if regular Kaia doesn't come back somehow.

Man, I still love this damn show. Season 11 was great but I feel like 12 and 13 have freshened things up with a larger focus on the recurring cast.

Super excited about the spin-off. I hope we get a quick announcement for that The CW is picking it up.

Also, I know the CG wasn't good but having Sam and Dean look up at a literal fucking giant was amazing. Never thought I'd see that happen back in 2005.

Yeah, that was a lot better than I was expecting. I hadn't posted anything about Wayward Sisters in the last several months because, honestly, I wasn't the least bit interested in it, but I did enjoy this episode.

I don't like the apparent big bad reveal, though. It was obvious that it was alt-someone.

Backdoor pilot was nice, always liked Jody and Donna.
But man how I wish Jo my favourite hunter girl could have been part of this, still can't forgive the showrunners for killing her off.

Wayward Sisters was da bomb. Loved it. I half-expected the mysterious cloaked figure to be Rowena though. Also ClairexKaia is new OTP.

Beautiful Province of Quebec.
Besides the King Kong wannabe scene(still lmao),this was awesome....finally something different with the other world or whatever, good new character(psychic girl) and all, great opening song(well this is nothing new but...)and the ending actually caught me by surprise...I also always liked Claire and Donna and it looks like we will see more of them...cant wait for the rest.

I'm surprised the scoobies are no part of this. If they aren't gonna be men of letters then they can at least be on the wayward squad. Honestly that' what the wayward sisters should be. Mills taking in various lost souls and helping them while using their skills to fight monsters. While Donna shows up once in a while to blast the hell out of things

Solid episode, solid backdoor pilot. The Dean scene with the food was funniest bit. I like Jodie, Claire and Donna, not really feeling the other girls but maybe they'll grown on me.

Oh damn. An OT for one of my all-time favorite shows? Watched!

Blessed first image in that OP.

Expecting to find some excellent GIFs in this thread.

Haven't watched the latest episode yet, though. Will probably do that soon.

Sad that they managed to get out of the alternate dimension to ours so quickly ... I really expected the scooby episode to be another dimenson Sliders style

Don't worry too much, Jack is still in apocalypse land with Mary.

One thing I dislike, is Claire not mentioning Cas. This is the second episode she's done that. Are they trying to distance her from him? She was literally a vessel for him so it's gunna be hard beyond 'he possessed and killed my dad'

It seems like opening portals to our world is something other entities can do now, though, so maybe they come here. That, or they visit Scooby's works while looking for Jack and Mom.

Yeah, I think they want to distance the new show from any baggage like that. Like how the other girl just was confirming that Jodie is her mom, when she really isn't.

Well Jodie is everyone's mom, even Sam and Dean, so that's Canon :p

Erasing Claries history with Cas is bullshit though, especially since they established that angels leave behind grace in vessels. So Claire has angel grace to boost her skillset. It would a long way to explaining why a small girl can take down wolves with ease after all :p

Also just realized that Dean has never had an angel in him.

Also, not like that.
Dean is clearly the top of the Destiel relationship

I don't think they erased it, but at the same time dropping that info didn't really fit in the episode. I'm sure they'll do a cross-over and it'll come up at some point.

I think they'll be better off leaving the angel and demon stuff alone, at least for now. That team is not really ready to take on that level of threat yet (and I hope they never need to).

Yea, they were pretty clear that the new show will be local and not national. I imagine we'll see a demon or two, if only because of how ubiquitous they seem to be, but it does seem like the show will be dealing with more inter-dimensional threats.

Good to see everyone so positive about WS. The fandom was bubbling thursday night, it was a cool thing to be a part of. Social media ratings were great, reception was good. Hope it gets greenlit.

Also, yep, Claia is life.

It's been like 20 seasons. I don't know why I remember something like this happening.
There was one time last season when we found out Jody banged this other hunter once and Sam and Dean had a little freak out moment. You might be thinking of that.

Or the time she went on a date with Crowley.

Felt like a good Supernatural episode, exactly what the spin-off needs to be.

The writers finally listened to the more sane fans and area doing a Jodie, Donna, and all their Wayward daughters spinoff. (Clare and Alex, plus more they've added this season) Though for some inexplicable reason they went with Wayward Sisters instead of Wayward Daughters.
Ha, I was just wondering about this myself. If I were to take a stab at a reason they'd choose this name, it would be because "sisters" is less patronizing than "daughters"? Like, if the show is gonna be about all these women kicking ass together, the baggage of being "daughters" is unnecessary.

Jodie's existence kinda maybe throws that theory out the window, though, so I dunno, haha.

It's just weird to me that the name fans used came from Carry On My Wayward Son. Of course daughter fits better with Jodies crew, but they picked sister.

Yeah I know the song, of course. :P I didn't know fans came up with the name. That's even weirder.

If that's supposed to be an attempt at a spin-off then I don't care much for it. It seems like the same old thing only with women. I know that formula has lasted for a long time but it seems a bit stale at this point, it's one of the reasons why I loved the introduction of the men of letters (which they eventually dropped).

I'm personally not a fan of Claire's "I'm a serious badass" attitude. I find it very outputting.

Jodie and Donna are all I need, though.

Hopefully the realization that her attitude caused her failure will temper that.
Maybe. That's the arc Sam and/or Dean go through every other episode, so I don't think it's unlikely that she'd see some growth. But I dunno if I care that much for her in the first place even without that. She... lacks the charm that Dean has.

Then again Angel made me like Cordelia, so anything's possible!

The only character I just am not feeling at all is Kaia. Like, when she died, I felt nothing, and when the hooded monster turned out to be her, I was like okay.

I was sad when Kaia died and then I wasn't anymore.

I so forgot how much I fucking love Donna. She better be a fixture of the show, wheee

Donna is so goddamn amazing. Rolls up with a truck full of arms all casual like. Not a single fuck given.

Man, I still love this damn show. Season 11 was great but I feel like 12 and 13 have freshened things up with a larger focus on the recurring cast.

That made me laugh they just look up and were like "Welp...fuck!"

Solid episode, solid backdoor pilot. The Dean scene with the food was funniest bit. I like Jodie, Claire and Donna, not really feeling the other girls but maybe they'll grown on me.

omg yeah "Don't say it tastes like chicken" "No...it's a chameleon, it tastes like chameleon!" When they heard the footsteps and got up to run away and Dean ran back, I thought he was gonna put the fire out, nope grabs the head instead looool.

At least I wasn't the only the one. I was shipping it so hard.

Yeaaaaa that's a ship I felt. I was like damn there's definitely chemistry there.

You know what'd be nice to see? A Leviathan. Won't happen, but it'd be nice.

Me too! Like you'd think we'd see some mention of them somewhere. The lore is that they just become disorganized, not just fall off the face of a planet...

I enjoy how they've taken characters from different episodes across different seasons, but somehow rebuilt Sam/Dean/Bobby.
