So the person Casca wanted to see was the demon child?
Makes sense since she hasn't seen the child since the Conviction arc and Casca loved it regardless how tainted it was.

So with this chapter I've come up with a theory.
Also the Dragonslayer as a tail is awesome.
Since the demon baby merged with Griffith and since this new chapter shows that Casca is still thinking about the child, I think what SK was referring to before in his warning was Guts' desire to kill Griffith. Since the two (demon baby and Griffith) are merged now, Guts killing Griffith might also mean him killing his own child, which is something that Casca clearly doesn't want to happen hence the warning "What you wish for may not be what she wishes for".
If I had to guess its another chapter or two before we get a resolution to Casca's healing.
Next chapter involves the finishing of the battle between Berserkerdog and Grifithbird while Casca gets to "reunite" with her child. Then chapter that is the aftermath and Casca actually waking up. Well hopefully.

Goddamn, that was worth the wait. I think what I loved most was
that we finally got a glimpse at Guts and Griffiths battle. And it was awesome.
I think that is now one of my top 10 favorite panels from the manga.
Because Miura didn't draw enough fucking chapters. What we got was bad ass though.

Despite it's animation problems, I really liked the new 2016/2017 series. I wish we were getting more.

I feel like the next chapter could end with a cliffhanger when it comes to Casca. Maybe the last page will be her finally opening her eyes. If not next month then surely the one after!

I disagree. I was more impressed with the movements that the tail sword allows for (like using the sword as an anchor due to its weight and then jumping off of it) than the usual canon which just fires one shot that did nothing.
DogGuts standing on his sword reminds me of when Griffith jumped on Guts's sword when they first met.
The mouth cannon reminds me of when Guts bit Griffith's sword from the same fight! O_o

Good catch! I'm sure their first battle was on Miura's mind when he was planning the encounter.
I'm so gonna miss doggy Guts when they leave the dream. He's probably gonna lose this fight to mimic the eclipse before some nasty shit goes down. I wonder if skull knight will make an appearance though. I'm not sure how much Casca remembers of the escape or the other God Hand members.

I must say I do like witch Farnese more than defenseless Farnese, she's been great in these chapters.

Heh the same happened to me too. I didn't find the OT until it was like 10 pages in even though I was here on Era since day one. It's be nice to get that spotlight spot or something while the chapters are being released to let people know we're here.
Because I need to argue with more people regarding my "I don't exactly hate Griffith" opinions? That's ok. Even Charlotte likes him.

I thought the demon child survived and split into its demon form and the moonchild form. besides the child being with the egg of the king (still super confused about this but Ima reread it shortly) as well as griffith being born from the egg i dont see how they are related (beyond griffiths demon sperm contaminating the og child)
