I subbed to Apple music since launch until December when I swichted to Google. I hope they can make the service reasonably functional in the future, I have a lot of bad things to say about Apple Music.

Me and my family use it. It's easy to use and integrates in our iDevices and is priced reasonably.

I really appreciate the Beats 1 artist shows and their respective playlists. These have kept me with Apple Music since day 1. The curation from artists such as RTJ, Frank Ocean, Ezra Koenig, Vince Staples (list keeps going on and on) is simply awesome.

Spotify has the far superior playlists but Apple Music was just seamless with iOS which is why I loved it.

Saying that, Amazon Music has about 70% of the music I listen to and is free with my Prime subscription so I just use that these days. Amazon are awesome.

Yea Amazons offering is so strong that it has me questioning what I should do. I do like Apple Music, though they are all essentially the same right now, so use what fits your ecosystem.

This is bad. What'll happen is Apple Music will become #1 and Apple won't make any changes or improvements but will continue to reef the benefits.

I find the differences between the two services to be marginal and not that important to me.

However, I will stick with Apple so long as they continue topay significantly more money towards artists in comparison to Spotify. According to that report, an artist earns around 65%+ more money off of an Apple Music play than they would off of a Spotify play.

I say this meaning no disrespect, but Apple Music is just not good when next to Spotify curation.

I'm currently on my three-month Apple Music free trial, and I love it so far. I'll defnintely re-up when it comes time to pay.

I dropped them a few months back. I listen to a lot of Kpop and their selection on Spotify is kind of bad. Apple music has pretty much every new release. Much better experience for the same exact price.

As someone who first subscribed to Rhaposdy in 2003...it blows my mind how people think the all-you-can-stream platform for $9.99 is a relatively recent invention.

Is there any actual benefit to one or the other? I use Apple Music simply because I use an iPhone and it's easier, but I've often wondered about Spotify, just never knew if it was worth switching or not.
Apple Music has a lot of music I like that's not on other platforms, mostly older music. They're all mostly the same except for AI integration into various smart systems. Google music is horrendous but I might stick with that after the free trial due to it being the only one that works on my google home.

Yeah, this was the other one besides some older music I heard was good on apple music. Spotify would have a handful of singles but Apple has like full catalogs of Kpop for whatever reason.

I tried Apple Music during the initial trial, and it fucked my iTunes library up so much I am terrified to go back. I still haven't fixed everything from it.
Meanwhile, on the student Spotify plan and loving it because of the Echo integration.

Do they share the same library of music? I only use Spotify and I love it. I suppose I can try Apple music.

Edit: oh yeah I use Spotify with my echo everyday, I'm not leaving Spotify.

Every time I would change Apple accounts between US and JP and switch back, all my playlists and everything were deleted. Never going back to Apple Music, such a pain in the ass.

Ooh, I did forget about that. I love St. Vincent's Mixtape Delivery Service, and RTJ's show

Spotify is on PS4 and Xbox.....so it probably will be a bit before I ever switch.

On my iPhone X atm.....but will probably jump to a one plus phone couple years from now. They haven't made any true advancements to Siri in god knows how long and it just seems like they are at a stand still for everything.

Only good part about Apple Music on an iPhone is yelling at the phone while driving to play what you need without touching anything

I know a loooooooot of people splitting Spotify among multiple people

I wonder if that has anything to do with it

Saw this coming. Apple owns like 50% of the US mobile market, it preinstalls Apple Music on every device. Even if those users decided to got through the App Store, download and subscribe to Spotify Apple still helps itself to a percentage of the sale. It's obscenely anti-competitive.

Family plan/Sharing is insanely easy to do on Spotify......INSANELY EASY

Apple I think wanted one single card holder to be the head of a family and stuff. I just could t trust anyone to not accidentally charge something to my card

I really didn't like Apple Music that much when I tried it. Putting together playlists seemed like a huge hassle, and it often felt cumbersome and confusing to assemlble a playlist in the Apple Music app. I felt like I pretty much had to make playlists in the PC/Mac version of iTunes if I didn't want it to be a terrible experience.

That said, the service's full-on integration into the OS was incredibly tantalizing. Being able to just say "Hey Siri, play [song name]" and have it start playing was an awesome convenience. If I didn't get Spotify for free from my employer, I'd probably lean towards Apple Music.

I legitimately use a family plan and still think the Apple Music family sharing is painful. I don't want my brother to be forced to use my credit card for his app purchases, ugh. The cherry on top is having to install the turd known as iTunes just to use it on my work computer because they have no web player. No thanks.

I also find the Spotify web control to be pretty amazing considering I'm too damn lazy to constantly re-pair my AirPods from my iPhone to my work PC. So I just stream off my phone and use the app on my work PC to control the music.

I've been using it for the past two months, it's alright. Still doesn't beat G music when it comes to curated radio stations

Even tough iPhones and other Apple hardware is super popular in Denmark, I don't know anyone who uses Apple Music, it's all about that Spotify over here.

What?! I didn't even know Apple had a service like this. lol
On the other hand, they don't use WhatsApp in the U.S. which is VERY odd.

No matter, I'm sticking with Spotify, and the U.S gonna U.S
