Apple Music integrates with your existing iTunes library, if you have one.
'Integrates' is a really nice way to put it.

Spotify has the far superior playlists but Apple Music was just seamless with iOS which is why I loved it.
Saying that, Amazon Music has about 70% of the music I listen to and is free with my Prime subscription so I just use that these days. Amazon are awesome.
This is bad. What'll happen is Apple Music will become #1 and Apple won't make any changes or improvements but will continue to reef the benefits.
I say this meaning no disrespect, but Apple Music is just not good when next to Spotify curation.
Apple Music has a lot of music I like that's not on other platforms, mostly older music. They're all mostly the same except for AI integration into various smart systems. Google music is horrendous but I might stick with that after the free trial due to it being the only one that works on my google home.Is there any actual benefit to one or the other? I use Apple Music simply because I use an iPhone and it's easier, but I've often wondered about Spotify, just never knew if it was worth switching or not.
I dropped them a few months back. I listen to a lot of Kpop and their selection on Spotify is kind of bad. Apple music has pretty much every new release. Much better experience for the same exact price.
I'm happy with Google Play Music. But being all iOS makes me consider switching to Apple Music.
Does Apple have a family plan like GPM?
20 years worth of MP3s, ripped from my CDs and otherwise, matched or in the cloud and available, play counts and listening habits included. Apple Music tracks in the same library. Integrated to me.
I really appreciate the Beats 1 artist shows and their respective playlists. These have kept me with Apple Music since day 1. The curation from artists such as RTJ, Frank Ocean, Ezra Koenig, Vince Staples (list keeps going on and on) is simply awesome.
I know a loooooooot of people splitting Spotify among multiple people
I wonder if that has anything to do with it
I don't want my brother to be forced to use my credit card for his app purchases, ugh.
I've been a subscriber for a while now. I do wish it was better at suggesting music and the android app is atrocious. There's really no excuse for it to be so crap. Sort it out, Apple.
i wonder how it is outside the US since i don't know a single person who uses apple music or the google one. it's all about spotify.
iMessage is leagues better imo.On the other hand, they don't use WhatsApp in the U.S. which is VERY odd.
Offtopic; But what If the receiving end has anything but a IOS phone? Or can you even have the app on android etc?
Wtf am I reading? Is this what were doing now?
