Does anyone know what's going on with that Diggin' in the Carts series? I was trying to show a friend but it looks like the videos for Season 1 aren't available in full anymore, and while Redbull TV is still mentioning season 2 on the page, I don't see anything released from it anywhere.

Each episode is only allowed to stay up for 30 days after airing. I think they have to taken them down afterwards for licensing reasons. It's a shame because it's a great show.

You can still find the video episodes on YouTube though.

Ohhh, it's audio only? Man, I'm so disappointed. The video production was great.
Thanks for the info though, guys. Appreciate it!
While it's been posted here before I think this is a good time to point out that they're doing a Diggin In The Carts vinyl release too with game tracks curated by Nick. Last I heard we should learn more this month now that the CD and digital version have been out for some time.

Well, that Alucard statue is up on Mondo for pre-order and still nary a mention of the Symphony of the Night vinyl. The thirst continues...

Mo from Mondo posted in the Facebook group recently that they're releasing Rondo of Blood first as they are still working on the artwork for SotN

Any idea when / how to download the Resurrection: Panzer Dragoon Saga digital files that you get when ordering the vinyl edition? I ordered mine through Bigwax.

BraveWave posted on Twitter that BigWax is starting to send out codes today (Feb 1).

I ordered from Fangamer and got my code a couple days ago, haven't redeemed it yet though.

Probably going to be waiting on Moonshake for that one. Haha

I could see Ship to Shore releasing it... They have the Konami license for some stuff, and just released Kid Dracula, which is a Castlevania Spinoff. And Rocket Knights is their first pure Genesis release too (Discounting Snatcher Sega CD). Who knows though. I just want every Castlevania ever. Gimme the N64 games, GBA, I'll take it all.

That would be a nice and welcome surprise. I'd love for the DS and GBA games to get some sort of proper mastering, although I think Harmony of Dissonance used super crappy samples. I have it somewhere in my closet...

Rpbtz, check your pm's.

iam8bit just sent out this e-mail announcing the cancellation of the Undertale: Determination 3LP:

Dear Undertale: Determination fan,

It's with great sadness that we are reaching out to announce the cancellation of the Undertale:Determination Vinyl Soundtrack.

Due to the lack of overall demand, coupled with our production minimums, we are not able to proceed with this title.

We will be issuing refunds to all Undertale: Determination customers in the next few days. Please send us your PayPal email address and the amount will be returned to your account within 2-10 business days of receiving your address.

If your Determination order also contained additional products, the remaining product will be shipped to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support and please know that we share in your disappointment - we were really hoping to bring this amazing soundtrack to life.

xoxo,
iam8bit

Super disappointing. This ultimately proves they were just using preorders as crowdfunding campaigns (which people have been speculating for some time due to the long preorder times). Also pretty dodgy to announce the cancellation in Q1 when it was supposed to be released. It means they've known for some time that they couldn't start up production.

Just got my Shadowrun: Dragonfall/Hong Kong records delivered from Black Screen Records. I'd almost forgotten I'd ordered them, very pleased.

Yup. I had started to consider that maybe they were getting better (as I recall, they've been meeting most of their release timelines lately, haven't they?) but this right here is proof that they're still up to the same old bullshit.

lol, ia8b; no surprise there. Hopefully toby fox aligns with more reputable retailers for future Undertale merch. I mean, doesn't Fangamer already handle a lot of it?

Not sure if there's a buy & sell thread on here, but I accidentally got a second copy of the Sonic Adventure & Sonic Adventure 2 Limited Edition 4xLP. Is anyone interested? Not looking to make a profit off of it, just what I paid for plus shipping from Canada.

Yeah I'm pretty bummed. I preordered that back when it was announced so it stings like hell.

Speaking of iam8bit, I was glancing at my account page and looking at the order history. A number of things I've already received from them in the past are still marked as "unfulfilled" despite having received them ages ago. Their backend must be pretty shoddy at keeping track.

MerchNow is like that too if you ever use them. There's stuff I've had for years that are still "unfulfilled".

Spacelab9 are releasing two new variants of Skyrim Atmospheres, which will be available on their store on Friday alongside the Resident Evil Vendetta OST (RE:V is a CG movie for those wondering): https://mailchi.mp/spacelab9/far-cr...xclusive-vinyl-sale-begins-april-25th-3119049

Their backend is a mess. If you try to order more than 2 2LP releases at once from the UK store you can't select a shipping option, because they haven't set it up for some reason. You'll have to contact support and have them create the order for you manually. It's one of the reasons why I've been buying fewer of their releases as I'd rather bundle them together to save on shipping.

Ship to Shore just teased
Life Force
. I played the hell out of that game... it was one I rented a dozen times; no idea why I didn't buy it.

Nice! The tweet I saw only showed the Salamander/Life Force image. They must have deleted that and put up a new one with all four of those titles.

Spacelab9 just sent out a newsletter and is teasing some upcoming releases:

pMJuRy4.jpg

Get your game on with these titles, coming soon from SL9 - NAMCO ARCADE Greatest Hits, BORDERLANDS: Claptastic Voyage, LOST IN SPACE: Complete John Williams Collection 4 LP Box Set, OUTLAST: Trilogy of Terror

Not sure if placing that Namco Musuem sleeve on a DK arcade cabinet is something we should read into or not, but Donkey Kong wasn't actually mentioned.

I've been tempted to start collecting vinyl for many years now, finally broke down a couple weeks ago and started buying. The thing I wanted most was Axiom Verge, but I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get it until I found a copy of the white version at a German retailer that I found out was slightly dodgy after I ordered it. Apparently they made a few bootleg vinyl releases of some popular hiphop albums that weren't on vinyl normally. When I see links deleted I have to wonder if they're what's being referenced.

Anyway, my copy of Axiom Verge arrived today, seems legit, can't wait to pick out a record player and speakers so I can actually listen to it. I panic ordered a couple albums knowing they were going to be impossible to find soon, figured I could work out the rest later.

Are you me?! After my post above about the Xeno Crisis Vinyl, I bought 6 other Vinyl's thinking the same thing.

Question for those 'in the know', Are reissues and represses (sorry not sure of the difference if any) a usual thing with Data Discs and/or other release groups? It would be nice to know what I should maybe fork out for now versus waiting or if i'm fine waiting a bit (my wallet is weeping a bit these days) :p

I understand limited color variants are in fact limited though.

It varies from label to label, and even then it's not guaranteed that everything will get a repress. Data Discs, for example, are generally good at repressing sold out releases, but there's been a few titles that haven't been repressed yet, such as Super Hang-On and OutRun.

There can be a myriad of reasons why something will not be repressed, but it's rarely something we can know about for sure up front. High production costs, licensing restrictions, poor initial sales, etc. Usually the best we can do is try to give an educated guess as to what will receive a repress.

Are there any titles in particular you're wondering about?

Hey thanks for replying. Also just wanted to thank you for your awesome site https://blipblop.net/ which I have found to be the single best resource for learning about the different Labels and releases thus far!

Funny enough, it was Outrun that led me to this question; that and Sonic Mania.
