There's no fucking way they off Daryl. He is probably the major reason a lot of people still watch.

If they kill him, they are idiots.

Exactly my point. The moment they off Daryl, you know that's a sign that they're either ready to end the show naturally, or they've completely lost the plot and the fans will bail anyway.

Yesterday I was thinking about TBS and their shift. What happened that they've started getting successful new shows that seem like they'll stick around. I remember that show Ground Floor and Sullivan and Son dying pretty fast. Did some leadership change at the top and they are accepting better show pitches?
As I recall, those were multi-cam and all their new stuff is single cam. In addition, I feel like the new TBS aesthetic is kind of darker comedy?

Regardless, some of it may just be that their current shows are flat out better.

So what's good to watch on cable TV at the moment? All of my shows are on break and/or done.

I think the only show I'm watching on cable right now is Mr. Robot. I'm having a hard time thinking of something else I'm currently watching and is airing right now

Major League Baseball turns everything yellow and red. Considering the performances, aside from This Is Us, it seems like a bad night anyway.

Me myself and I was really bad, just not fun at all. Not surprising it did not do well.

Legit question: who remembered Man With a Plan was still a thing?
Lol. I actively watched the whole season and thought it was okay. But I have to admit that I completely dropped it out of my mind until I was watching another show on Showtime that had Matt LeBlanc as one of the leads.

'24' Franchise Eyes Comeback At Fox With Female-Led Legal Thriller Drama

Fox is developing a potential new incarnation of its Emmy-winning drama series that would have a female lead and take the real-time format of the terrorism-themed original and apply it to a different arena, criminal justice.

Details about the premise are sketchy, but I hear that the potential new 24 series centers on a female prosecutor who uncovers a legal conspiracy and has to work against the clock to save a death row inmate facing imminent execution whom she had helped prosecute but may be innocent. I hear this is part of an anthological take on 24 that would tackle a new world with new characters each season.

Ten Days in the Valley was the first "cancellation", since it was taken off the air last week. The rest of the season will air at a later date (on Saturdays).

welp. I knew my ABC exec fan fiction was too good to be true — they're always the source of the season's first cancellation.

Wow, how did that slip under everyones radars. Welp.

Probably happened when our community was doing this:

'Four Weddings And a Funeral' Anthology Series From Mindy Kaling In Works At Hulu
A romantic comedy classic, Four Weddings and a Funeral, is headed to television. Hulu is developing an hourlong anthology series inspired by the the 1994 British movie to be written and executive produced by The Mindy Project creator, executive producer and star Mindy Kaling and executive producer Matt Warburton.
...
Like the movie, Four Weddings and a Funeral the series follows a group of friends as their lives intersect through these five events, with each season following a different story arc. It is still early in the process but I hear there is an idea to have different characters in a different location each season, with the lead possibly remaining the same.

I hear Kaling and Warburton are working on two scripts. A decision on a potential straight-to-series order is expected to be made by Hulu early next year.
Please let there be a rule that each season must contain four weddings and a funeral no matter what.

VH1 has cancelled their only remaining scripted show Daytime Divas after just one season. Looks like they're going to focus exclusively on unscripted stuff from here on out. (their other scripted shows Hit the Floor and The Breaks are moving to BET)

Is there something special about this World Series that's drawing so much attention? Here in Chicago, everyone is paying attention to it...and they never pay attention to the World Series unless the Cubs are involved.

Baseball dominated again. ABC was hit hard. Speechless has never been below a 1.0 until now.

Seems like FOX is not going to let this go. They should have just kept Yvonne Strahovski if they wanted to go that angle.
It's really weird, when they announced that London season I was convinced they did it both to give Jack a proper send-off and to introduce a new lead for the show to continue. Alas...
