Probably for the best. I understand where you're coming from.I don't think anyone said it was. But it's an ignorant thing that needs to be pointed out so people can learn from it. Someone says a dumb thing and gets corrected. Someone else suggests that Singapore is close to China location wise and gets corrected on it. It's called an exchange of knowledge. Then some wise guy barges in and starts quoting people who corrected those people going on and on about how it doesn't matter and we shouldn't care so much. It's natural to be upset. Looks like he's still trying to argue so I'm just going to ignore his dumb posts and move on.
Can't wait for the new Ridge Racer intro! Nintendo starts to look really agressive with this "3rd party" exclusives...
I think you underestimate how thorough GameXplain are. A lot of work goes into these videos and rumors are only reported when there's convincing evidence. For instance this Linkedin listing is about as convincing as it gets.Andre probably would make a video of Miyamoto sneezing while having lunch
;)
Well there's also another employee who has "interesting unannounced IP..." all secret-likeYup. This thread is about a Linkedin Profile from a Lead Designer at Bandai Namco
Really curious on how nmh is gonna turn out. It is an indie project right ?
Please be a real Ridge Racer game, it's been over 10 years since we got one. :(
Tanabe reminded us about the ending of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. After Samus's ship flies off into the distance, another ship suddenly appears. He said that players Metroid Prime Hunters should recognize that the ship belongs to a bounty hunter called Sylux. "He's actually chasing after Samus, and that's where that game ends," Tanabe said. "There's still more I want to build around the story of Sylux and Samus. There's something going on between them. I want to make a game that touches upon [it]."
"I'm also thinking that, in that eventual game between Sylux and Samus that might get made, that I wants to involve the [Galactic] Federation as well," he said. "So it would be a good idea to release a game like Federation Forces to flesh out its role in the galaxy before moving on to that.
Predictions on the release date of MP4?
For me they will show it at this E3 and coming early 2019 (before the end of the fiscal year).
What it is going to be i don't know outside what was on the fact sheets (a return to the classic formula of Metroid Prime) and the story is set after Corruption, Sylux will have a big part (it might be the final boss).
The biggest concern is the fact that since those guys are former LucasArts they might be more interested on a development of a story and more cutscenes rather than just focusing only on the gameplay, which in theory could be awesome (since i can't remember a single Metroid or Metroid Prime with a great story) but at the same time it could be Other M all over again.
It could be based on UE4, since BN Singapore has devs who worked on Star Wars 1313 (which was developed using the UE3).
I mean he was pretty close, he said long before announcement that there would be another World ends with you, only he thought because of language barrier issues it was a sequel while it was in fact a port/remake.I was wondering more about the non-Nintendo stuff, where much more info and detail was provided. When I read the texts, it seems pretty clear that he doesn't have that strong connection with the Nintendo part of the industry.
As I see it, he could be a potential source for things like "3rd parties that develop titles for a Nintendo platform" but totally unpredictable for Nintendo 1st party stuff.

My current prediction is Metroid Prime 4 will be a 2019 title, and an HD Metroid Prime Trilogy will release on Switch.
Again, it's just a prediction, but that's how I see it at the moment.
Highly likely that one of them is the announced tales of game. When Bandai said they have 3 exclusives for Switch I don't think Metroid or Smash count. Those are first party games. Ridge Racer fits and that's one game so far. That leaves 2 left.
Yeah, buddy do your research. Are they fucking crazy making RR8 an exclusive?! RR is a PlayStation platform title and itd go best with its brand recognition on that platform + go Multiplatform on xbox1 (and switch). It'll also look way better. Crazy talk.
This is all correct. Xeen also worked on both the 3DS and Vita games.? I know NST did 64 and DS, but 3D was internal in Japan and the Vita game was by Cellius.
If they do the trilogy, how do you see them adapting the pointer controls of Prime 3? There's gyro pointing, but that's not traditionally been as fast or fluid as the IR pointer was, and would require Skyward Sword-esque recalibration. My current prediction is Metroid Prime 4 will be a 2019 title, and an HD Metroid Prime Trilogy will release on Switch.
Again, it's just a prediction, but that's how I see it at the moment.
Also Taiko. At this point Nintendo could do a "Bandai Namco" Direct to announce Ridge Racer, reveal Metroid Prime 4, another exclusive, Tales of and Smash.
Yeah. So that would put us at Ridge Racer and Tales of. One game left...Highly likely that one of them is the announced tales of game.

Oh yeah, you're right. The 3DS game is in-house which is odd because it feels like a generic offshoot similar to RR64.? I know NST did 64 and DS, but 3D was internal in Japan and the Vita game was by Cellius.
That would seem like a bad move on Bandai's part. Idk what else Namco has that they could bring exclusive to Switch.

Hey man, I love GameXplain, Im just teasing about how every news got a minute video dedicated to it. It's pretty uniqueI think you underestimate how thorough GameXplain are. What?i think, if nintendo is handing over the mp licence to another company, it might become something as metroid: other m.
believe.
What's next? Nintendo fronting the money for a new Virtua Fighter?
There are a bunch of enemies that require being able to aim independent of the lock-on. Like those flying guys that you have to lock on then aim at their shoulders, and a bunch of bosses, too. Or those balls that you can't lock onto that fly toward you in a group with some of them shielded, that you have to manually aim at.
Jokes on them, we use the same word for both in my language!Fun fact: I don't know if this is true any more, but a few years ago Bandai Namco was insistent that the vehicles in Ridge Racer not be referred to as cars. They're called "Machines". This is something Namco passed on to Invictus, who developed Ridge Racer Slipstream. I hope they maintain this for RR8—"Machines" just sounds cooler and more unique.
