So HeavyArm have just started taking preorders for Digimon Story Cybersleuth Hacker's Memory Asian/English version. Has that been 100% confirmed?

And HeavyArm have stopped $10.00 airmail shipping. You now have to pay $20.00 for expedite delivery which will certainly attract the good old 20% vat & £8.00 Royal Mail handling fee.

It's not going to attract the £8 Royal Mail handling fee, because they actually use a courier.
And I don't think you'll have to pay VAT either, because HeavyArm doesn't pass on the real value of the game(s) to the courier as far as I can tell.

Cool, thanks. No US version I'm guessing despite showing ESRB on the cover?

Oh, right. I know I saw someone on the LRG forum get caught for customs a while ago using expedite shipping. Maybe HeavyArm have started to undervalue recently.

It's a shame they've stopped using the cheaper shipping & I've not seen any reason given.

So I've never had to delete a Vita game or anything since I got a 64GB card but while downloading a 500+ MB patch for Chaos;Child right now a question sprung to mind.

Are the patches stored on my memory card or applied to the game cart?

I've noticed a single exception to this rule, which is Muramasa Rebirth. It stores both patches and DLC on the cartridge, which blew my mind when I discovered it. A real shame more games don't do this, but it probably affects cartridge costs.
A bunch of early vita games store patches and saves to the cart. Off the top of my head persona 4 golden, little busters converted edition, and time travelers do this. It's a great feature for physical preservation but I assume they stopped doing it once the patches started exceeding cart capacity.

Play-Asia now has a pre-paid customs option so I'm hoping they'll eventually have it for pre-order.

New user here, I can't make new threads. So here it goes:

Cursed Castilla Ex for PS Vita - Limited Edition box (4000 units) available today

CursedCastillaVita_LimitedEdition.jpg

Cursed Castilla EX (already released on XBO, PS4, PC, 3DS) will be realeased digitally for PSVita on November 9 for US$11.99, but East Asia Soft made a retail Limited Edition box limited to 4000 units exclusively at PlayAsia.com (remember, Vita is region free).

Today November 1st, 11am HK time (GMT+8) they will open the pre-order for this retail Limited Edition. They made a similar edition with 3000 copies for PS4 and was sold out in a few hours.

Developed by Locomalito (design+art+coding) and Gryzor87 (composer+sound designer), published and ported to consoles by Abylight, the award-winning Cursed Castilla EX is an old-school 2D arcade platformer inspired on genre classics as Ghouls 'n Ghosts or Rygar.

Inspired by medieval myths from Spain and the rest of Europe, Cursed Castilla is a love letter to classic action arcade games from the '80s and '90s. Players can expect a perfectly balanced platform experience, with 8 different stages, more than 48 enemy types, 19 final bosses and 4 different endings.

That's boss. I knew such thing was planned for cartridges, but always thought it got shelved.

So Muramasa saves on cartridge, inverts X/O on JP Vitas

Cursed Castilla on the PS4 is one of the best games I've played all year, and I'd probably rate it higher than one or two of Capcom's official GnG games (still not better than Ghouls n Ghosts though!). Difficulty was perfectly pitched as well, I mean, its not walk in the park but its easier than any of Capcom's GnG games I found. I just hope the Vita port is quality - I remember getting so hyped for the Slain port and being so damn disappointed by it - the frame rate made the game awful to play in my opinion (thankfully the PS4 version was amazing)

Has anyone bought this? Looks like it's what LRG has. Just wondering how big the box of 100 are if they're not folded up.

Play-Asia now has a pre-paid customs option so I'm hoping they'll eventually have it for pre-order.

Is this automatic on all their shipping options? Bought something last week using their cheapest option and I didn't see anything about this.

Thanks for the heads up. If it sells as fast as the PS4 version, I probably would have missed it.

No, you have to select the shipping option that specifically says VAT is pre-paid. It's around $7 iirc, and then when you check out an amount for VAT is added as well.

It's a shame they've stopped using the cheaper shipping & I've not seen any reason given.

I asked them about it through email and they told me they got a lot of packages gone missing, so that's why they started using a courier service.

So...

JhDzmYn.jpg

Had to travel 45 mins to get it (made the most of it by visiting some friends in the area too) but finally I don't have to worry about missing the boat on this one.

Definitely the biggest hassle I've had to go through to get a Vita game so far. Glad I pre-ordered Yomawari and Demon Gaze so this hopefully won't happen again

My situation is the opposite, my copy of DRV3 is just collecting dust but I can't get my copy of Demon Gaze because the LE sold out.

Canadian but yeah, if there's any places I can preorder from I would love to know

i don't know if they ship to them but you could send it from nisa europe to a proxy shipper but the only problem is you'd be stuck with a EU copy or you could try finding someone that will split the costs 50/50 and get them to ship you the CE and the contents because i think it's pretty much the same stuff for both countries

I love 2D platformers but GnG is the worst. Will I like this?

Pre-ordered Demon Gaze II now to avoid this situation again xD

Well what didn't you like about GnG? As this is basically a proper sequel to GnG in all but name (heck, even one of the last bosses is basically one of the main enemies from the series). The only real difference is the difficulty - this one has far fairer difficulty so its far less difficult to complete, while still remaining challenging. Other than that its very close to the GnG series. So if you didn't like that, you may well not like this either.

The clunky controls. Also accidentally getting a weapon that is terrible.

Are there seriously no game play impression videos of Sousei No Onmyouji (Twin Star Exorcist) on Youtube, or do my search skills suck in this particular instants? Guide me to the land of milk and honey Vita Era.

Weapons on the whole are better, with each having its fair share of pros and cons but a couple of weapons are clearly better than the others. Plus control wise I'm 99% sure they added the ability to change jump direction mid jump unlike in GnG.

Is anyone else playing Rabi-Ribi on the Vita? I've started the game recently and besides the font being a bit small, it's a really fun Metroidvania. Also, being the first Sekai Project title on the Vita, I hope we get a nice physical release soon.

I played it on PS4 when it came out in EU (gonna buy physical Vita from LRG) and I quite enjoyed it too. It's not the best game ever as the Steam reviews led me to believe, but it's fun. Definitely recommended.

My biggest problem with it is the writing, everyone talks like a toddler. I guess it's supposed to be cute anime writing, but it doesn't work very well.

I am really looking forward to play VA-11 HALL-A on my V :D

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is available at Shopto for £34.85. :)

Haha, you know, I saw this before I went to work this morning and thought "bugger, that was £5 and a 45 minute drive sort of wasted" but now I've got in from work it's out of stock.

So I'm just kinda happy I secured a copy lol. Also, what a shitty reprint if that was one, lasted all of a few hours.

Hello!

Omg, Ouren is here. Hello!

If they're unannounced Vita games, I take it that they're not Galactagirl and Magic Scroll Tactics since they're already announced, just without platforms?
