Going to post this here too, serious question! (sorry)

In the physiology, more yellow stars are affinities and red crosses are weaknesses? Or is the other way around: red is null and amount of stars are weaknesses?

I use the Handicraft charm if I can improve sharpness levels with a specific weapon.
Sometimes it isn't enough. For example, my diablos hammer needs 4 points in handicraft to get white sharpness and I use a protective polish gem to maintain it.

The Kushala just surrounded me from literally all fucking sides with that stupid tornado thing it loves to spam. It was about to fucking die too. I die and we fail because the other two died once. Unfuckingbelievable. I'm so fucking tired of farming this guy. Just what in the fuck is the drop rate on these gems? It's souring me on the game.
Imo, you should wait till the weeklies reset and just get your gem from there if he's causing you so much grief.

The latter.

Gunlance feels super weak. Couldn't kill an Uragaan in an expedition before it fled.
With the right built it's really strong. World has made it so that full bursting into sweep is key to dealing optimal damage.

Are LBG viable? Just started using one and feel like I'm doing nothing to monsters, even when using piercing, slicing etc. It clearly doesn't have the same meaty feeling as my main weapon - the hammer - but I wanted to give it an honest shot and am not sure if I'm doing it right.

Does anyone have some advice, a guide, or even a video where I can learn how to git gud with the LBG?

It's viable. Elemental Rapid Fire completely destroy Beetlejuice, Lavasioth, Diablos/Black Diablos, Uragaan, Legiana. And Rapid Fire Normal 2 deals lots of damage against monster with many weak hitzone like Odogaron.

Also the Status ailments you can inflict is ridiculous, unlike melee weapon, status shot have 100% chance to apply status instead of 33%. Using Jyura LBG, you can get 2 Para, 2 Sleep, and 2 Poison per monster.

- Make sure to shoot from critical distance and always aim for weakspot.

- Rapid Fire is the most important thing about LBG. Barroth LBG and Odogaron LBG are great for general use as they have Rapid Fire Normal 2 (second to last Odo LBG deals 30+15+15 to Beetlejuice wing/neck per shot) and Spread 1 and can use Para shot.

Jyura LBG is good for monsters that weak against Water (Lavasioth, Uragaan, Diablos/Black Diablos, Teostra, Anjanath), can use ridiculous amount of Status shot with very little recoils, and big Spread 2 capacity.

Thunder LBG is good against monster that weak against Thunder (Raths, Beetlejuice, Legiana, Odogaron), have access to big amount of Paralysis shot and big Pierce capacity.

- Elemental Shot have Piercing properties. but unlike Pierce shot, the initial damage is comparable to Normal Shot, that's why it completely destroy Diablos, Uragaan, Beetlejuice (using second to last Thunder LBG, shooting him from head to tails deals 100+ damage per shot), and Lavasioth. Personally not a fan of Pierce shot for LBG, the capacity is too small for most LBG.

- Make sure to Mod your Bowgun, I usually just stack Recoil Mods.

- Wyvernblast deals ridiculous amount of damage, one mines can deals between 200 to 250 damage, and three mines deals up to 750 damage. The best way to use them is when the monster is downed/sleep/paralyzed , sets all three on monster head then melee them and the monster head to KO them and trigger the explosion. Another good way to use them is to set them randomly and try to bait monster into triggering it (monster attack also triggers the explosion), pretty good against monster like Diablos, Odogaron, or Beetlejuice.

It's not even that the fight is hard. I'm just so sick of wasting all of my time fighting it for a single drop. Altogether I've spent almost 9 hours farming it and nothing. I know I can just do something but I wanna get this shit over with so that I never have to fight it again. It's not even a fun fight. Unless everyone brings flash pods like they should, you'll spend half the fight just waiting for it to come down and stop spamming its tornadoes.

I just beat the game and finished all optional quests possible.

What do I do now? How do I start dealing with tempered dudes? Also, are there really no more quests???

I beat Kirin solo and I think I might have done it too early. That fight was insane, had minutes left on the clock and fainted 2 times, I'm proud of myself.

You should bring flashbugs and put the flashbomb craft on your radial menu in case someone doesn't have flashbombs. Also, 9 hours without a gem drop is REALLY unlucky. Still, I think you should just wait for the weeklies,

Are people having trouble getting gems making sure to max out the research level by farming?

Doesn't that just tell you exactly what to break or do to get a gem? I don't have it maxed for Jyura yet I got a Wyvern Gem in like my third kill. Regardless, Kushala has been looooong maxed for me.

What is the point of having plus backup saves when it doesn't work.

My power went out after coming back from a quest (the only reason this irks me is because it was a challenge for me). Back on emergency power.

I go in the game and I see the login bonus. I was like what! So I check save, local says 10:26 AM while on plus it says 12:45 PM.

So I quit the game but closing application, hot options and overwrite the save with the recent one.

Load back in to the game and it's still the old save.

How do I use the plus save?

Oh maybe. For some reason I assumed the higher the research rate the higher the drop rate. I didn't realize that all it did was tell you what to break.

This "evidence of Nergigante" quest is very bad and feels broken, even though it apparently isn't and I just need to find some random spot on this huge map.

Does the Guard skill reduce knockback too or is it just stamina depletion? Wondering if I should factor into my CB build I'm working on.

This one single move makes up for the loss of how much fun Aerial Dual Blades was in Generations. I still miss it, but every time I land one of these it hurts less.

I made the mistake of randomly searching for the tracks when in reality it's always in the vicinity of the area where you meet a new monster.

Both.

So I always bring Honey with me so that I can convert my First-Aid Med into First-Aid Med+...

Is there a way to make it so the First-Aids get upgraded automatically? It's annoying to have to go into the crafting list everytime

Yeah I just used my Gold Print to get the Daora gem to get the chestpiece. Now I have the Xeno set bonus without losing my handicraft level. pretty darn nice

Your best option is to set it on your radial menu.

EDIT: Or you can just tick the autocraft box as stated by the user below. Kinda forgot about that.

If you go into the crafting list and highlight it see how there's a checkbox...? Press triangle.

I am going to have to echo the statements of others here in that he isn't the problem and you are. I can understand getting thrown around like a rag doll can be unfun for anyone but I mean.... cmon no reason to be an ass.

Who sounds like the bigger dick here, the longsword user who may or may not be new to the series hitting an obvious weak point of a monster (head) and friendly firing his team.
Or you, the self entitled hammer bro who decided "fuck this guy for stopping MY dps, I'm important for stunning, the MOST important in fact!!" Then proceeding to grief someone yourself (which was your issue with him to start with).

Be the bigger person here and just move on and let it go. By saying you carving grief I wouldn't be surprised if many people here will now no longer want to play with you which is an unfortunate thing.
I'm gonna answer you ought to know how to play the game by the time you're at HR Kushala Daora.

But yeah, it was a total dick move on my part. I was mad as hell. Literally 30 minutes of dealing with this dude smacking me out of damage (honestly the only KD fight I've done that took more than 17 minutes) had me steamed. Maybe I could've handled it better, but I figured someone at HR 40+ would know better.

Yes I know about Auto-craft but as far as I know it doesn't work for stuff you pick up from the box.

If I pick-up honey in the world while I have regular FA Meds it will auto craft to FA+ but if I have honey in my pouch and grab the FA from the box it won't auto-craft to FA+.

Just picked up my copy, what are the least common weapon types? Usually like to start with one of the least common then eventually try everything and find what I like from there.

Fucking Diablos... For some reason I just can't kill the damn thing

So what determines what meals are available at the camp canteen?

Sometimes I get the same thing I get in town... Sometime I don't have any meals that actually give me any + Stam or + Health... The fuck?

What skills is he using?

That's cool and all, but entirely situational as that's a setup for running up a wall and using spread shots. AFAIK, Nergigante is the only fight you can abuse that on. Here's another video that shows the gear and skills at the end.

Just look through Phemeto's channel.
