This is something I started years and years ago and never finished.
Based on the Little Nemo NES box art.
Fanart based on Super C/Contra 3 I also left as a rough.
I'm painfully bad at finishing my work.
Well here's a more recent one I did on my phone. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, sometimes I get little bursts of inspiration, like when I get a new device to draw with or something. For a few weeks I was really into it again, what with the Note 8 being so great for making art.
This was done on one of the default art apps that comes with the phone. It simulates brushes and other tools REALLY well I think.
This is just a rough work in progress but I'm glad I finally managed to get some color on some stuff.

So I worked on this for over 2 months I think. It's a recreation of Alexandria from Final Fantasy IX. I thought it would be neat to remake it.

Nice work OP. Got a few queued up, although 90%of my old fanart doesn't have sources, been trying to track a few down. First up is Geralt/Ciri from the Witcher, followed by Bayonetta/Okami and then finally Haru from Persona 5 and Eileen the Crow from Bloodborne.

There is one pretty bad Skyward Sword ripoff in here. Not only is it blatant, but the drawing is super wonky too.

Like I said earlier in the thread though, I am usually more inspired strongly by games but create original works instead of true fan art. So I'm not sure if it applies.
But when I make art nothing inspires me more than videogame music. Movie and anime too, but game music is just the tops. Especially stuff like Zelda, Metroid, etc.

This moved me a little, i hate Disney style because everything looks the same imo, but Disney also means happy endings, so it immediately made me imagine a happy end for them...
Bonus is that Aerith looks like Anna, that i already find adorable, but in this gif she makes me smile
