If they're just now hiring the art director, I can't help but think they're cutting it pretty close on making the dec 19' release.

Maybe they're a little worried JJ might not live up to the visual brilliance found in TLJ and wanna help him out.

I'm happy to wait as long as it takes for a satisfying end to the trilogy. Between a director and writer change and one of the main cast members passing away ( :( ) there's some heavy impacts to production and they'll probably need more time
I'm Hoping that these last few episodes of Rebels hit it out of the park.

I think I actually prefer the Hoth troopers. Something about their helmet makes it look like they're assassins or something.Why weren't those Snowtroopers in Hoth? Fucking fucked up by sending these derps.
That's honestly the worst Trooper design in the movies, it doesn't look badass enough.

Yeah, I can see why Rian wanted to alter them slightly. It was a subtle change but they look more menacing.

I really dig the ST trooper designs, but I think I've also come to realize that I can't stop loving the OG trooper -- specifically the shoulder pad variant.
Not to mention the helmet is oddly more friendly to me now thanks to the tons of parody material that's used them.
