A280-CFE does stupidly good damage but overheats like crazy. It also puts your squishy 100HP in danger at optimal ranges. With the Marksman card you can deal out some serious damage but eventually grenade and blaster spam will wear you down in a shootout, assuming you aren't insta-gibbed by a headshot.
The problem is that it suffers the same balance problems that plague the rest of the game. Imo, the Officer and Specialist should have their HP pool swapped. This would make Assault and Specialist better at certain ranges (short/medium vs medium/long) but otherwise the same durability, and Officers wouldn't be so much of an all-around short and medium death machine.
I think Heavies are in a good place after the SCS nerf but I think base Sentry ability (no cards) should be buffed. Increase base damage per shot and give it the health regen that normally only comes with a card.
