Yeah it just resets you to right before the final boss.So without any plot spoilers, can someone tell me if you keep playing your main file after you complete the main story?
You'll need to go off someplace in the world or send them off on a mission then go off into the world. It depends on the blade. And then it will appear as a mission in the world or I have to go to some place and it'll appear there?

Someone uploaded the cutscenes music without sfx with datamining.

They're both good tanks, but they have different styles. Notice thatFinally haveMórag, i was planning on using her as my tank instead of Tora, is it a good choice?
I must say Poppi teenager form is interesting though. Finally have Mórag, i was planning on using her as my tank instead of Tora, is it a good choice?
Guys, I'm with level 60 with Rex, 61 with Nia and 62 with Morag in the beginning of chapter 9. I am underlevel in it or not? lol Should I make some side missions?
If you're dying lots, yes. If you're murdering everything, no.
Era, quick question. I'm sure it has been asked a lot so I'll apologize in advance for the redundancy: how are the Japanese voices?

You're a goodI just started chapter 7. How much of a haul is it to the end? I'm debating whether I should take a break so I don't get burnt out or Just haul ass to the ending.
You're a goodhours out I'd say. The game totals10-15chapters.10
I finished the game. The last boss wasn't that difficult but I was able to do itI got 2 orbs on the last boss with Pneuma with his life in the mid. He was going to kill me when I launched the attack and damn, I can't believe that I was able to finish him.
Either way, I loved this game. The characters are extremely likeable and charismatic, the worldbuilding is fantastic, the cities and titans are really great in visuals and exploration, the story is really great, there's some really good developments in there, along with great backstories and concepts for the blades, titans, powers and the world. Also, the gameplay in the game is bit difficult to understand in the beginning with the different concepts but in few hours it was pretty easy to dominate and it was reaaaaaaaly fun. Sidequests weren't really interesting for me, at least the majority that I picked up.. I will try to do them in the post game and see if I change my opinion.
The negative points are some designs that I disliked in the rare blades, the field skills being in the story for like three times, the fps sometimes in cities and all and from my mind, that's it with what bothered me. Nothing game breaking for me but it's still in there.
And I think that's it. It's the best Xenoblade for me and also my favorite one. I would give the game a 90 if I needed to give a score.
Glad to see another person see this game through to the conclusion. I feel like I might be spoiled playing other games in the future because it's rare one makes me feel like this one did. In fact, I can't think of another game I connected with this way. It's the combination of all the elements that makes it so great to me. The music, used to absolute precision to elicit maximum impact in every major scene. The story has some heavy emotional moments, and the characters are so likable and you really feel for what they've gone through. The combat, although a lot to take in all at once, has crazy layers of depth, and once you fully grasp it, it is a ton of fun. In spite of what was said about how the game looks undocked, I felt it was quite gorgeous at times docked. Even undocked, it still looks great for a handheld game, in my opinion.
I mentioned it in one of the other XBC2 threads, but I started playing Trails in the Sky for PC. Although I'm having a great time (the dialogue may be the best I've seen in a JRPG), I'm on the last chapter, and even though I'm not all the way through it yet, and I really like the characters and story, it feels like it won't be able to pull off the emotional punches I got from XBC2. Not to say I won't enjoy other games post XBC2, but I really feel like this is a very special game.
It certainly was rushed out the door to meet the holiday 2017 release date. If it was delayed to March 2018 from the beginning and shipped with the 1.3 patch we will be getting next month, who knows what kind of reception it might have received critically? Not that it was panned, but it definitely had some issues on release that were rightfully mentioned in the reviews that have been addressed in meaningful ways post release. I truly feel the high points in this game are so high, they outweigh any other issues, even if some are legitimately frustrating.
Is Mor Ardain supposed to be good? It's the first location in a Xenoblade game that I actually hate. Uninteresting layout, blade ability blockades in the main quest, level 80s ready to pounce on you everywhere.
Sigh. Is there a way to upgrade superstrength for Poppi?
I've been collecting data and analyzing it with a neural network and there is definitely a difference between the crystals. The most noticeable effect is rarer core crystals give more crowns on the Common Blades, but they also definitely give a higher chance of finding Rare Blades. The problem is finding a Rare Blade gives a significant suppressing effect to your chances of finding more Rares + the rarer core crystals are, well, rarer. By the time you find them in any quantity even close to commons, you have enough Rare Blades that the rarer core crystals won't even be able to give all that much. They're still definitely better than common cores, though. Was there really any actual difference between Common, Rare and Legendary cores? All the unique blades I got were all from common, and the last two from rare. Didn't get crap from Legendary. Also I finally got every single blade that aren't from story, on chapter 5 too lol.

trying to decide between this game or bayonetta. never played any in the series.

This is all from data mining? Good info, thanks for sharing.Interesting, it seems the effect of your luck stat is proportional to the square root of it. So 900 luck has 3x the effect of 300 luck. The last few points don't actually matter all that much.
It was also found that the game considers either your highest idea stat or the one you used boosters for. If you use a booster, it uses that idea stat. Otherwise, it uses your highest.
Finally, rare core crystals have a 50% better chance of giving rare blades than common core crystals, and legendary core crystals are twice as likely to give rare blades than rare core crystals.
I'll be back with specific Rare Blade probabilities once that's been figured out. I cannot take credit for this discovery, that goes to the guy who grabbed the full soundtrack.
Where are you reading this? Any further details?Interesting, it seems the effect of your luck stat is proportional to the square root of it. So 800 luck has 2x the effect of 200 luck [EDIT: Corrected my math here, oops]. The last few points don't actually matter all that much.

Sourced from the guy who mined up the OST from the game's files, you can find his findings on the reddit Discord server. Dunno why he's not sharing his findings publically outside of the server but he's posted a few data tables there + pseudo code for part of the Blade pull algorithm. It looks legit, especially because he mined up the OST. I can dig back through the Discord logs and post screenshots of his exact findings here tomorrow when I wake up if people are curious and don't want to go digging themselves. Right now I'm crawling into bed for the night.Where are you reading this? Any further details?
That's very interesting info. To me this suggests rares aren't so much better than commons. For example, this means that opening 30 commons is the same as 20 rares, which isn't that big of a difference IMO.
