The photomode was updated in-game. They added a UI for some new effects, which seems nice (use 'F' to scroll through them. using the mousewheel takes forever). Still a small bounding box, because... reasons! anyway, enjoy :)

Thanks but when I move the freecam (in photo mode) the picture is now super blurry, I can't really see what is going on when I move the camera. And afterwards I have to rotate the camera to clean the image (like before) but know it is way harder.

Enable input to the game. If you disable input to the game you get that result in photomode, as the game doesn't see any input and doesn't correct for movement. It was the same in v1.02 but less in-you-face.Sadly it's not fixable.
So press 'numpad .' and it should fix it. you then do get input from the device you've chosen to move the camera with, but if you e.g. have a controller, you can select that as camera movement device in the camera settings, and control / edit the photomode features with the keyboard/mouse.
Ok, thanks, it is sad that it's so blurry now. I was blocking input to the game so the photomode UI don't show up.

Seriously though, it looks pretty good. Is is a singleplayer game with a story or is it just F2P mindless grind stuff?
Sorry I am new at this. Are frame rate counter is considered bad form? I will remove them in the future.
It is a full-fledged single player RPG. It has a decent amount of story though it's nothing crazy but the gameplay is very deep and it has a fantastic battle system. It plays a lot like old-school Final Fantasy with a lot of new sensibilities added for depth. It's a pretty long game. It took me about 70 hours to be doing most of the side content but that was because I ran the slowest possible party just to see if I could. The characters you see in the screenshot are all either tanks or healers whereas most people run at least one DPS.
Excellent news, thanks for clarifying! Looks like it'll be added to my wishlist (and played when I have the time next year)
EDIT: ugh, one of the character designs is off-putting as hell. That really sours it for me :/

Gonna go out on a limb and guess it is Red Monika. No surprise. The game is from a 90s comic by Joe Mad, who is famous for that sort of thing. She is actually massively toned down compared to the comic (her breasts were about 2x bigger) but her design is still pretty blatant early 90s pandering, yeah.
I agree. I also hate it and I think lazy loading should be an option that you can disable.
Not really? I mean, if you have a completely HUDless screenshot and the framerate counter is the only thing ruining a clean image, then I'd say try and toggle it off in the future if that's your goal. But in those screenshots, I don't see the FPS being an issue at all.

AC Origins. The pyramids have a really commanding presence in the game which is hard to capture in screenshots.
You can render Night in the Woods at higher resolutions? Or is your screen native 4k? I tried and couldn't get it to work.
My screen is native 4K so it's rendering at that resolution, but you're right that the assets themselves don't change.

Does AC:O have customizable hair or is it a story thing? All the shots here seem to have different hair.
I've not come across this horse armour with the tusks yet in AC Origins or that other heavy looking armour. Put hours and hours into the game and visited a bunch of stables. I guess you win a horse like you do in the chariot race thing?
