Damn Feb 22 for Brave Frontier 2? Is that JP only or will that be the global release date also?

Edit: Guessing that's JP release date with GL to follow like a year later. Bleh.

Which also gives developers the ability to actually balance content properly if everyone has access to the same units.

New outfits is probably a pain though for sprites... Gotta see what they actually do for this.

Maybe bf2 will just be a pet project which is funded by ffbe whales?

Pretty much. It's hard for me to be excited for a game when I know Global release is (likely) so far away. :(

Global release will be shit. Don't wait for it and play JP.
If you like Gumi SG you can wait but they are trash company and so far they ruined all games.

I actually hate Gumi, I just happen to like the BF formula. That said, so far Grand Summoners has been doing a good job of giving me my fill of it, so unless it somehow turns to complete shit in the next couple of months I could see myself playing it for a while.

I'd be less worried about it turning to shit as much as I'd worry about it not catching on and turning a profit in the US. It's getting almost no exposure or marketing, whereas other new releases such as Lord of Dice are getting a ton.

Gumi will probably wait to see how Alchemist Code does and, depending on whether it's being successful for them or not, close the Global servers and encourage players to try their "hot new game", that being Brave Frontier 2. It would be a complete opposite situation as to what happened with Chain Chronicle, considering they closed that one down with the hopes that people would try Phantom of the Kill which, ironically, is the predecessor of Alchemist Code.

I want to say I'm just being negative or whatever, but honestly my history with Gumi hasn't been the best. :/

so ive not played much of grand summoner. just rerolled the 2 top tier units and 2 lilys. Any good guides?

Whats the best way to lvl? i'm not strong enough to do int. and i quickly ran out of money to fuse up units. I seem to keep getting kicked from mp groups... people are demanding I use food? what food items do they want to spend.

Use the same food as everyone else. 4 same foods gives you a luck bonus (better drops).

For leveling, do story and join mp groups doing silver birds of exploring

If you need money, join a mp group for golden cats of exploring. Can usually just hit refresh until you find the group you need

The evolution dungeons and exp/money ones are faceroll. The three big boss ones require everyone to be capped with decent equip. High luck is wanted for a lot of stuff for additional drops.

You can test on int & adv difficulties. Don't bother PRO unless your unit is at 70 level and it can still be kicked out of party (if they are looking healer or something).

Actually don't bother with kick, just find new group :)

If you're playing GS and have some 70 units, the 2 main things you should be doing right now are farming Divine Princess Pro for Bleak Prophet and farming Spirits of Exploring for bonus units.

Really curious at how needed the cross brave burst stuff is needed in bf2. I guess having no gacha units does let them play around with this stuff but I wonder if this will limit team builds.

With more than 600 characters and more will be added in the next years I dont think teambuilding will be too limited to few units.

If anyone is interested in playing Grand Summoners, I have a few accounts to give out. The one I've been palying (Ragna/Herck/Eden/Abbadon/Feena) just got Regulus this morning, with my second set of Alchemy pulls, so I'm good. The accounts I'm giving away haven't been touched (aside from doing the actual pulls, the initial 2x multi as well as first set of Alchemy pulls to grab Feena/Regulus), with the second set of Alchemy pulls still available (via the login bonus, which should come tomorrow). Who knows, you might get Feena/Regulus too and complete the set!

Anyway, I'll post them here. If any of you want them, just send me a PM and I'll attach it to a throwaway email (doesn't have to be an actual email) and give it a password. When you transfer, link it to your own email and create a new password for yourself, as well as change your name to whatever it is you desire (currently set to "Chrono").

Oh, Grand Summoners is finally available on the iOS App Store! Shame that it couldn't have came yesterday (I went through the trouble of paying a premium for a $25 US iTunes card, just so I could purchase the Support Pack since I was worried it'd be time-limited and didn't know how long it would take to release officially in Canada), but oh well. Time to transfer this thing over to my main/more powerful phone!

Yea the support pack is an enormous bang for buck. Terra Conjunction is game changing, I completely destroy event bosses now. I had a 600k Break the other day against Oldeus. Also finally managed to clear SpEX dungeon, man that shit was hard.

Yeah, just different rates up between the two. The Ragna/Herck/Valhalla banner is better just starting out, so focus on that one if you're re-rolling. Honestly, I probably won't do another multi until Roy/Liese release later this month. I'm trying to save as much as I can, for stronger/more meta characters.

Are Roy and Liese top tier/awakening capable heroes in the JP version? I've got 650 free gems and am in no rush to pull, so I'm just putting a feeler out there for who to wait for.

They're not "top", but they're decently up there. Roy is at 11, and Liese at 10.5 (http://games.gaym.jp/iPhone/grandsummoners/wiki/?GAYMユニット評価ランキング). Granted, this is after their Awakenings and with other characters added over time, but even still (as a healer), Liese will likely be better than Valhalla, if just for her better stats and neutral element. I hope I get her.

The first multi of every new banner apparently grants a guaranteed 5*, so I won't be doing any more than that until permanent 5* guarantees are added to all multi-pulls (which eventually happens, at least going by the Japanese version).

Has there been any recent news on SAO Integral factor? It's a game I've been interested in for awhile but the Japanese version is region locked and I've never been one to mess with VPNs. I saw a few weeks ago that Bamco was brining of west but haven't seen much else since then.

Also, if anyone likes Tera Battle style gameplay another game released this past week called Luna Storia

Early in the tutorial, you'll get to draw your first character, here 5 characters that are great to start with:

Adonis A character that can both heal and attack.

Asta Provides a massive heal and invulnerbility on the first round, great for pvp!

Vivienne The goddess of all heals! Healing healing and more healing; plus invulnerbility at the round 6!

Diaz No 13 A tank that can tank; with a massive ultimate at round 6.

Lancelot Another heal and attack character, does a bit of everything.

I tried out makai wars but I've never played a Disgaea game so the appeal was lost on me. Good sprite work though.

I've been playing a lot of Cygame' s new game, Princess Connect Re:Dive. It's a lot like granblue in a lot of ways but it's a lot less confusing/more beginner friendly. Production values are through the roof as well.

It's so well made. Animation is superb.
I don't know why I'm having fun, even when combat gameplay is the most basic of mobages.

Princess Connect Re:Dive looks great, but no English version kills any interest for me.

With all of the money CyGames is pulling in, it'd be nice if they made more of their apps available worldwide. :(

I'm hoping they'll be doing an english language option eventually like they did with granblue. It's currently doing really well so the money is still there/warranted (4th top grossing on IOS last time I checked)

I like the fact that you can raise the rarity of a card and even, with enough effort, grind to summon any gacha unit. From what I can tell it's later game stuff for the materials for most 3* but the fact the option is there is nice. I'm on my way to raising a 2* to 3* right now.

The graphics seem really lackluster for a recent mmo style mobile game. You see the stuff outta korea?

Anyone try this out? Is it similarish to hollow fragment realization?
