Camo bulls always look great, but I enjoyed the first one more.

What's up with that engine sound? It sounds great!

I preffered "real street car camo" compared to that half-xssed version.
The car shapes seem to look nice, but i'll have to see it in full livery mode, this looks better than the Williams.

I have fears rising a little from the size of the engine cover... Renault '17 engines needed more than proper cooling, and this looks very slim.

You don't think Renault tell their teams what cooling considerations they need to make their engines not blow up?

Well, they do... but sometimes they are not well heard or understood, like TR last year...

by the way talking about engine... good news !!! despite censoring of the engine during the documentary, we can clearly see the honda engine has not changed in global design since last year :)

That is actually last year's engine in the right picture.

That said, Honda did not make a new engine design this year.

Darn :P ... i thought the intro pic was of this year... evil Motorsports. Anyway, yup, i read that, but i also read they could relax in their confinement since Torro Rosso is less demanding (might be BS rumor, cannot remember where i read that).

I hope they managed to stabilize the wear issue of the MGU-H and the delivery issues of the MGU-K (the one where the computer did not recognize properly where the car is in the sequence of corners).

Evidently they must have given McLaren were making those last year.... /s

Not a big fan of that camo RB livery. Too dark.

I'm at a point F1 2017 where I can play the AI like a damn fiddle. There's also the bug where your team mate is worse than normal for some reason, which IIRC was never fixed just patched over by making McLaren faster. And the dichotomy between qualifying and race AI pace... I still enjoy the game a lot though.

Since I signed with Ferrari I also stopped doing all the upgrade programs since they're already the fastest car and I didn't want to make it any easier.

But yeah the only thing I want for 2018 is to redo the AI. More aggressive, less risk averse and to stop their tendency to form easy to overtake trains on the first lap. Dive bombing is still way too effective.
If you want to cure your over aggression, turn on sim damage and turn off flashbacks. I promise you'll drive like a granny in no time. Good driving ai is incredibly hard to do, but yes, they could absolutely make some tweaks.

Yep there's not nearly enough red, c'mon Ferrari doesn't have a monopoly and they could add more.

Now I'm half expecting Sauber to be white with a red top and Ferrari to be red with a white top.

No doubt due to cold tyres/track.

The Sauber looks interesting. Colour wise not bad, livery could be more interesting though.

If they had continued with the AR red through the halo and on top of the nose it would have made it better IMO.

Those sidepods. Can only think huge advances have been made in cooling by all makers over the winter.

Not since 2013 and 2014 no.

Thats actually not bad looking.
Why are some people against it so?

Yes i do agree some more red would be nice but it isnt horrible.

I might actually get the next F1 game just to do Halo deletes....unless the cars texture maps are really really complicated i imagine a simple Alpha texture over the Halo would delete it.
Replaces the connection textures with body color and that should work.

If not might have to do full model extracts and manually delete and retexture the cars....but seeing these things Halo-less running around will be glorious.

Im very bad at the F1 games so literally it would be just to do mods for the game.

I have to wonder while changing the regulations to close the space for the shark fin that they left it so we have these little mini shark fins on all of the cars, they look much cleaner without them.

The Sauber-Alfa does look minimalist, but I like it. These new cars would look so goddamn sexy without the halo though :(

The Sauber looks really interesting, especially in the airbox area. Is that the first wing we've seen on the halo?
