Most of the jocks over 200 lbs were such pushovers and teddybears in my highschool and the ones who tried to act tough usually got rocked by 1 punch usually.. Size means nothing. Bobb Sapp is 6'1 and 375 lbs ex football player, and he even has a mediocre fighting record...despite training a little before fighting in k1. Don't use size as a way to gauge someones ability to fight. A glass jaw is still a glass jaw which has no bearing on physical training.

Sapp is a bad example to support your argument. The dude has not one but two legit wins over Ernesto Hoost, who is one of the greatest K1 kickboxers of all time, despite having garbage striking technique. Size and strength matter. Sapp is also at least 6'4", by the way.

Ofcoarse size matters but it matters most when you're rediculously big. Sapp was a big monster who decided to do k1 he had absurd size and strength and some level of training before he retired so ofcoarse he improved but he was still considered mediocre for someone with such feats. This is a youtuber who's 200 lbs at 6'2. And first of all 200 at 6'2" is considered small. So what he played football in high school. That does not mean he has an advantage of any kind. 200 at 6 foot would be impressive not 6'2". Does he look good? Heck yea. But he by no means a genetic freak like Sapp. And he is on the lower end of someone who's considered "muscular" he'd get rock by any fighter who's 30 lbs within his weight range by any small amount of training. And he's fighting someone who's within his range. Either one could get knocked out by 1 random punch. So to say just because he's in good shape and fit looking and would not get embarrassed is an overstatement.

Just saw KSI vs Joe Weller. KSI may be built like a boxer, but damn, he's got to work on those punches. I, like everyone here would love to see Logan KO'd, but from what I've seen now, KSI's punches couldn't put a dent on a cream pie.

Wait... it's a literal boxing match? I always assumed "youtuber boxing match" was a metaphor for some kind of debate or something. Weird.

There is a lot of money to be made from youtuber boxing matches

I cant believe that KSI and Joe Welller fight sold out an arena. People paid money to come and see them fight.

Okay 200 lbs at 6'2 is not even a lot of muscle.if Is he in great shape? Yea but low body fat is also a low source of fuel and that does not give a lot of power. Why do you think powerlifters have fat on them? I'm 6'1 at 235 and I'm not low enough on body fat to see abs but I'm like 16-18% and people his size don't not tend to actually lift a lot. Not that it matters tho I rather give away my strength to look like a fitness model any day of the week. Just can't put down the booze. But being physically fit does not mean he's physically powerful.
Assuming those figures are accurate, this person would have a decent amount more muscle than the average male. Fat does not contribute to strength in the way you think it does. If you look at powerlifters, strongmen or olympic lifters who have to fit into a weight class you'll notice they are usually very lean, because they want to have as much muscle as possible whilst still making weight. It's only at the higher/unlimited weight classes that you'll see more athletes with higher bodyfat %.

First time I've heard of this KSI, seems like a total dork, but from what little I know of the other one so does he, so good for them I suppose. Being a childrens entertainer is obviously profitable for them.

First off, sorry for the necromancer trick, but as this fight is actually going ahead on August the 25th, I thought it'd be better to get this thread going again rather than create a new one.

I know of Logan and Jake Paul, but can't say I'm a fan of their 'work'. Same goes for KSI. All I know is that they are a big deal on YouTube. Now they're going to fight for whatever reason.

Anyway, Youtube thought I'd be interested in watching their 'press conference', and oh my days. I cringed so hard my face almost imploded. A bunch of kids on stage trying to act hard. Call me crazy, but this shit seems staged as a way to boost their viewers. Is anybody hyped for this, or am I just old and out of touch?

I would pay to see an arena full of people who went to see a YouTuber boxing fight, fight.

At least while they are all at arena they aren't out on the streets.

Should hold it in one of those arenas with a couple of rotating spike poles, lock them in and have no win conditions. Idiocy dictates that soon enough to keep it entertaining one or both of them will stumble into their demise.

Remember when everyone thought Jerry Springer was the bottom of the barrel entertainment and it couldn't get any worse? I miss those days.
