Xbox One Backwards Compatibility |OT| Who wants to pay for remasters?

Nothing new today but these games are getting enhancements for Xbox One X.

Its a setting for all 360 X-enhanced title. It is not specific to these new ones.

Basically you can turn the X-enhancements on and off in case some of them run better in the lower resolution or perhaps if there are visual flaws. This may point to enhancing games in the future that don't work 100% perfectly if they give us the choice and you can always turn it off if the issues bother you.

"More than 460 Xbox 360 titles, 11 Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 titles, and 13 Original Xbox games" are backwards compatible. Quite an accomplishment. Keep it up MS and team!

I played Witcher 2 on XBO via BC last December and I kept thinking it'd be awesome if it got enhancements for the X, and now we've got it .

It's a great looking game hampered by low resolution and a lack of post processing. I can't wait to see the X version running at 4K with texture filtering.

Looking forward to the DF analysis.

I think a lot of people will have forgotten it was a GWG title and be pleasantly surprised today.

Crackdown! I'll wait until I buy the 1X next month before diving in though.

Not that simple. The X360 games are still supplied by the X360 store and that's still region/account locked. A VPN to another non German store would work if brought through Xbox.com.

Glad to see the Witcher 2 banner wasn't just a farce. Might have to replay that game this summer since it has been a few years.

Also nice to see the support for X enhanced. The whole backward compatibility thing ended up being a major factor in my decision to go Xbox over PlayStation when I recently got a console.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion just got updated, so I guess the software for X enhanced 360 games was improved.

I don't even know when I bought or got Crackdown 1 for free (i'm sure I got it for free somewhere)...but it says that I already purchased it. Well, I know what to play today...fuck, I got other games to play. Damnit.

I have the 4 new enhanced games with Crackdown and Witcher 2 installing now (no sign of Fable Anniversary or Horizon) along with updates for Mirrors Edge, Oblivion and Halo 3 also downloading.

did they add any more Xbox Classic games besides the initial 12-13?

Doesn't work. It still says that it's not available in my region.
I can buy the 360 download code on amazon though. No idea if this works.

That's what I thought. I just wasn't sure. That means my save should still be there...I wonder how much I played though. LOL!
