Harsh return to the reality for PS4 HW. Monster Hunter's drop is good though.
Girls und Panzer's performance is quite good compared to recent anime games in the same category. Senran Kagura is back into irrelevancy, and the rest is the same as usual.

Top 4 in SW belong to PS4 but PS4 hardware fell below NSW. thats a bit weird. I think PS4 baseline is going back to 20 - 25k or maybe even lower during summer again.

Vena mentioned that PS4 hardware decline was in line with the decline pattern past DQXI, only at higher numbers. Assuming that's still true, it seems that MHW isn't going to raise the baseline up significantly, unfortunately.

I really like 1-2 Switch as a party game. You can take it everywhere and have lots of fun in a group It serves its own purpose and will likely sell for a long time. 1 million is not so far fetched for 1-2 Switch.

Vena mentioned that PS4 hardware decline was in line with the decline pattern past DQXI, only at higher numbers. Assuming that's still true, it seems that MHW isn't going to raise the baseline up significantly, unfortunately.

When has a game significantly increased a console's baseline for months before? I'm seeing this sentiment quite often, and I just don't know if there has ever been a *single* game that provided such a boost. The only thing that comes to memory is Splatoon and the Wii U, but even then the Wii U got Super Mario Maker a couple of months later and major holiday bundles, so I don't know if it applies. Of course, I would be happy to be proven wrong with examples and chart data.

It actually had a 2 day intermezzo where it wasn't available, but yeah, in general we should expect that 40k to be just about the level of sales Switch can produce at this moment. It won't do more than a few thousand more if stock were fully stabilised imo.

Really good numbers for MonHun, Capcom must be really happy. PS4 coming back to it's baseline and Switch maintaining good numbers even with basically no new games.

Senran Kagura showing that it maybe was not a great idea to drop Vita for now. If SK7 fails equally the next one is probably going to be PS4+Switch day one (7 is probably going to get a Switch port at some point, but probably not day one I don't think).

Monster Hunter World's Asian sales increased 10 times compared to previous entries according to Tsujimoto.

What do you mean by normalise? That they are going back to the level it has had in previous years or that the decline in sales WoW is coming to a halt? I would agree with the former.

Senran Kagura also keeps being mismanaged to no surprise. Sad to see.
Really nice to see Girls under Panzer at 50k though, game looked really fun and polished!
