Nordic broadcasting company MTG has some exclusive F1 rights for 2018 so maybe Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland will be added for next season.

McLaren is getting baked, it can only do short stints before it combusts.

The bracket / clip thing was some lame excuse, they've got serious cooling issues.

Not only is it getting baked...it's getting baked in cold weather. Not that it really makes a difference when you're talking the kind of hear that exhaust would put out, but it looks worse

It's going to be more difficult for McLaren to throw Renault under the bus, but I'm guessing they'll try it anyway.

With Honda performing so splendidly and McLaren's perfect superfast chassis destroying a different engine, I can only imagine a Honda exec somewhere in Japan smirking to himself and sillently mouthing "karma" at his screen.

Can you imagine the sodium levels if in Melbourne Toro Rosso is reliable and McLaren isn't? Holy shit.

Will F1 TV support casing to TV?
Sounds like just PC/Browser support initially, and mobile/set top box apps later. Casting may come with those, but at one point I thought you could cast to your tv from just a browser, though it didn't work too well at the time.

I am very much a layman when it comes to the more technical parts of F1 so I would love it if someone could fill me in. But from my understanding Renault is the engine maker, so they focus JUST on engine and McLaren being the chassis manufacturer, as a result would be responsible for cooling. Correct?

I mean Alonso did almost twice as many laps as the other teams combined, no wonder the engine overheated!

This video goes into good detail:

The issue McLaren seem to have is with the heat of the exhaust, and not with the actual cooling of the engine.

Yes! Switzerland is on the list was well. Was not expecting it after the initial announcement.

I'm so in!

[edit]. And weird having South Tyrol on the list, while the rest of italy is not. I guess it's about providing german speaking coverage.

Italy doesnt need to be on the list, all the races are live on RAI (free TV).

United Kingdom
So shit that the UK has to bend to Sky's will where you have to spend a ridiculous amount just to watch the sport.

If we can bypass it, I will. If not, well, torrents again, I guess. Do you want my money or not, Liberty?

There's no surprise Sky feel they can stronghand this service - they would have the streaming rights for the UK as part of Sky GO, and they seem to be comfortably in the bed of F1 by being it's global feed producer.

Can you still bypass netflix using a VPN? Last time I saw it had pretty tight controls against such services.

No UK for F1 TV? Faaaark, i've been clammoring for something like this forever. Sounds like it's almost on par with MotoGPs service too. Guess i'll have to VPN it.
