Detroit: Become Human releases May 25th

Looks like I'll be Day 1 for this (as long as I'm done with God of War by then).
Enjoyed Fahrenheit, Loved Heavy Rain and even Beyond 2 Souls sort of grew on me.
There's definitely a space in my collection for these "cinematic" type games. I find them quite relaxing despite being heavily QTE laden.
... and that's gotta be Clancy Brown for me.

I don't know if it was just the walking around and interacting with stuff or the reactions from the audience, but I'm convinced.
Not sure if day one because there are too many games coming out, but I'll definitely play it eventually.

Most of my release date predictions have been off now (lmao). I pegged Detroit for April and GoW for March. Makes me wonder where Spidey and Days Gone will fall.

Writing seems cheesy & unconvincing, and the acting feels wooden. Not into it. Graphics look great though.

That's worthy of a new thread if you ask me. Both are seasoned, wholly dependable character actors who have plenty of fans among film geeks.

Genres are totally different, it should be fine.
It's dull visually and it barely tells me anything about the game.
I mean, Detroit and Dark Souls clearly cater to extremely different tastes. Also, I think Detroit has the edge of being an entirely new and highly expected game.
what's with the blogpost announcements? I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I like it better when they show it on PSx/E3, etc. It's so anticlimactic:/

Sigh, again things change, but Layden said about what they were showing at E3 2017 that was coming in 2018 (thus including Days Gone)
No idea why you guys are so hung up about arguing on that tbh.
Spider-Man in June would be great. Then Concrete Genie in August, Days Gone in September and Dreams maybe December?

Despite recognizing that Heavy Rain is problematic, I did enjoy it for what it is (and I remember being very hyped about it ever since they did that Casting in-engine demo). Never got around to playing Beyond Two Souls, but I heard mixed things about that.
But, about this one, I am pretty hyped. I might hold off buying it until I read some reviews (and I won't be able to play right away anyway since I'll be on a trip), but the whole QD debacle is putting me off. I know that it's currently under investigation and there was a court (office???) who said that the evidence wasn't enough, but still...
I still hope this does well then and I hope David Cage's writing has far improved and that his new writing team helped.
But, about this one, I am pretty hyped. Sooner than I was expecting. Can't wait to try it for myself, never played one of their games though I've always been interested.
I thought the same thing, May has been quiet going back years.
Gahdamn they need to change that ugly box art, almost makes me unhyped about the game itself.

That's a pretty fantastic exclusive lineup for the first half of the year.
I have really enjoyed all of Quantic Dream's games so I'll be there for this. I like a good cinematic game every once in a while. It gets overwhelming when every game is open world and there isn't much direction.

The Witcher 3 released in May 2015, DOOM in May 2016 and Prey in May 2017.
