My new favorite combo.
Not sure if it would ever be possible but I'd love WGG to merge with KF in some way to make a eza type supergroup.
Guys, you really stepped it up this week having Dr. Creed on the cast. This truly makes me feel much better about the previous Black Panther conversation and even though I am not on the Reddit, I am really glad to hear y'all took the feedback to heart. My only critique is I wanted more!! Such a great guest and honestly, a topic which could easily go on for another hour. Hope to see him on GoG. =)
Are you into hearing them talk more Monster Hunter and Celeste? If so, you'll love it. the topic of the show was really good.
When Greg called out for it to look at her boyfriend's beard, my first thought was "Ummm, does Jess realize what's about to happen?" Hahaha. It played out exactly like I thought it would.
Lol if they aren't commenting what's the point? This is why watchalongs feel worthless to me.
I love the comments but it was a bit much I think and hard to understand. I still go back and watch the 2 person or 3 person reactions for their comments. I think 4 was a lot though. Jared has a lot of hype and love for so many games, a lot to say, and it was hard to hear Tim, Greg, and Andy.
I love the unique knowledge and perspective Jared can bring, and he really does seem like he's one of the nicest people in the industry. But, his communication style is so different from the rest of the group, I feel like it can introduce stutters to the flow of a show.
Kinda Funny Games Daily is my favorite podcast, and my favorite show that KF does. I appreciate how the show has grown over the last year, and love the variety of hosts that have been rotated in. After 3 weeks, pairings with Jared have become the "lowest tier" as far as hosts are concerned, in my opinion - which doesn't mean I don't like him, just that I prefer the other hosts. I think Jared works well on KFGD overall, and that his voice works best in a two host format. I don't think he works as well on Gamescast, or, for example, in the recent Direct Reaction. It's likely he's still acclimating to these shows and the KF crew, these are just my thoughts/feedback so far.

I hadn't heard of Jared before since I only watch KF sparingly (mostly special stuff like reactions), but I have to say it was pretty jarring to watch early on. I have nothing against him but he clashed so much with the other three's style in this. It got a bit better after Tim told him.

I'm calling it now that I think he won't last until the end of the year. I think he's a nice guy and all, but I don't think he gels with the rest of the guys. He's good to be a special guest every once in a while about a specific topic he knows really well. His knowledge about games is amazing and I like when he goes into long discussions about them, but only when it's required.
I'm not sure how long you have been following him for, but this is who Jared is. I've been listening to him on shows since 2014 and he hasn't changed a single bit, so the odds of him changing now are low.

Greg posted a joke script page from Reddit on Twitter. It parodied the Martha! scene from BvS and the fans were getting angry at Greg. He responded to each post with the "BvS was a Good Movie" shirt to put out the flames. Some of the tweets called people who didn't understand the scene as dense and stupid and it was wrong to have such an important scene parodied. I don't know about any of you, but when I saw the movie, I don't think anyone around me took that scene seriously. I knew it was coming, so I just looked for the reactions.
Edit- Also, going by Jared's Twitter account, I guess his wife just gave birth or they adopted a kid. Either way, congrats Jared!
Edit 2- So, turns out, his tweet was meant as a reply to someone. There is no baby. All those congratulations that were sent to him must've been so confusing.

Greg, excellent guest and conversation on Monday's KFGD. I am so glad you listened to some of the community feedback and are approaching the conversation surrounding diversity and representation in games and nerd culture so earnestly. It was awesome hearing from Xavier and Spawn on Me. Keep up the great work!

I missed the show, but he's the dude that made the Oddworld series of games.
...What really? That's silly. :( I can't ever get through the Morning Show. Like, I love when they talk about a given topic but not so much when it's just aimless chat.
Bloodworth was great on KFGD! I felt like he meshed well with Greg, similar to how Huber/Tim meshed.
I agree, huge bummer to hear that I've loved Lanning before. I missed this episode actually. :/ However, I gotta disagree with you in that I love the aimlessness of the Morning Show haha. That's just me though.
First off, Bloodworth was amazing. One of the best in the business. Glad it was a more conversational KFGD.
Second, Damon Baker was a perfect guest for Gamescast. That conversation had some real behind-the-scenes nuggets you don't get from Nintendo all that often. And Jared, your questions were on point! I feel like you shine with guests, stepping back and listening. Maybe that Soup experience coming through?
