Thanks Agents of SHIELD, you disappointed the edgelords who had Ghost Rider piss fire. /s

Brian Taylor said:
"I think that Ghost Rider should be a rated-R, horror character. The original script that David Goyer wrote for that movie, which was actually written almost a decade before the first Ghost Riderfilm, was a hardcore, rated-R horror script and it was awesome.
They've brought that character back on TV now and he looks like the clean, vanilla, G-rated character again. That version really has no interest for me."

Finally finished Season 4 last night. What an unbelievable ride the Agents of Hydra pod was. The highlight for me was definitely Aida. What an arc that character went on... I was actually half-way sympathetic for her early in episode 21 before she just loses her mind. Holy crap was that frightening. That actress has quite the range in her acting.

Oh yea, Radcliffe. What a perfect way to go out. Not with a bang, but with a

Crazy how seamlessly they made him one of the antagonists from when you're first introduced to him. But it made perfect sense, cuz well, aside from liking Fitz, the dude can be pretty damn selfish.

Also I still get shook whenever I realize how little screentime the real May had throughout this season.

Watching Radcliffe working for Hive, then slowly becoming a father figure for Fitz, and finally dying in the Framework, was great.

I hadn't even considered that because of how quickly I went through the season but - yea - she really had been in and out of various versions of the Framework from pod 2 onward.

They really did a number of several of the characters this season - from May completely missing in action and then the LMD May coming to the realization that she wasn't real... that was pretty wild and sad. Don't even get my started on what Fitz and Mack went through in the Framework. I really felt for both of those guys.

Watching Radcliffe working for Hive, then slowly becoming a father figure for Fitz, and finally dying in the Framework, was great.

Also a great thought - makes me want to go back and re-watch part of Season 3 to re-live the introduction of Dr. Radcliffe.

Man Season 4 was amazing. This season hasn't been as good, but it's still entertaining.

I wonder if these people that act like they're incapable of enjoying something that isn't ultra gratuitously violent and vulgar, are aware that they're actually showing how immature they are. Probably not.

lol, bootleg Bradley Cooper hugging that tree
That scene was sooo good lol

Sweet

I hope we get more Patrick Warburton.
Yes please, that would be damn fun.

Probably favourite episode of the season. I remember worrying season 2 was going to be the final season. I still want more seasons though. Disney please force them to make 10 series and a movie.
This. I need more :)

A video like that is a great reminder at how far this show has come. Hard to believe the show is what it is now after that very first half-season.

Watching the episode now. Those monoliths makes me real uneasy now. But it's oh so good being back on Earth and in the Zephyr. And Deke turning up hugging that tree, running away from the bartender and all that stuff is hilarious!

Holy shit those arms! Wow that ring was legit.

I really like this episode. Was those soldiers LMDs?

Daisy is smooth in that tuxedo, I really liked her acting here. And I'm fond of this new Shield base! That hangar for the Zephyr in the water hmph, and multiple underground routes hng.

Whoaaaa, it was Ruby! I did not see that coming. Thought it was General Hale all along.

Oh man, a team. I wonder how many known faces we gonna see. I honestly can't remember either Piper or Creel, but I remember their names. Guess they were never memorable to me in earlier seasons.

I wish we'd get a cool cameo in the 100th episode...but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Yup. It may lead to nothing since it exploded, but something about putting Kree beacon right next to those monoliths doesn't seem like a good idea.

My thought, based on the promo for the episode:

The explosion impacted the monoliths -- or at least the new grey one that we've never seen until now -- and a rift in time and space is created. This is why we end up seeing Hive, Lash and whoever else.

I'm pretty sure there are some spoilers earlier in this thread (the past 10 pages) that talk to this.

Yes I'm aware that we're getting

CGI Lash and CGI Hive, but that's not the same thing as a physical appearance by Brett Dalton or, even better, someone from the movies.

A cool cameo would be normal Ward turning up to have casual fun with the cast. Nothing else.

Imagine if they do get someone from the films

and it's a wingless Sam Wilson like "Well this was my day off so I didn't bring my gear"

They're gonna get Dr. Helen Cho, who will give YoYo arms from a leftover Ultron robot. While she is sedated during the procedure she will have a flashback dream of Hive and Lash.

Or they take YoYo to the Wakanda outreach center in Oakland.

You know what I miss? The Bus. The Zephyr has zero personality. Bet it doesn't even have a nice bar. Or a fish tank.

god DAMNIT

Agents of SHIELD has no right to be this good.

every episode has me on the edge of my seat

"we have a small but active fan base"

fitz immediately taking the gun out when threatened is perfect. love the subtle nods to him going through some shit.

So, I'm trying to catch up, haven't watched anything since mid Season 4. Btw, 2nd half of Season 4 was good. I actually started crying when Mac lost his simulated daughter.

Now I just finished ep.8 of season 5. The entire season has been great so far, AoS has suddenly become one of my favorite space shows (better than Dark Matter and Killjoys imo), but this episode. Never thought I'd care so much about Robin, or even May. My fucking heartstrings.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will give us the quintessential live action Ghost Rider."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is one of my favorite space shows."

Imagine these quotes being spoken by people in season 1.
