Cool chapter! Chrollo is looking pretty badass...shame the Mafia don't have enough info on the Spider to but out entirely...
Hopefully togashi doesn't waste time on having barriers to the Spider getting to the first floor...As a force they could likely wipe out the princes and the royal army by themselves...They shouldn't have trouble with what the mafia throws at them considering past events.

It's so nice to see the Spiders again. I hope it's not like last time where we get to see them for 1 chapter and they disappear for the next 10, but then again I'm also interested to see what's happening with Kurapika and pals. Also I noticed that the names of the 3 big mafia circles changed, unless they're different than last time. If these are the properly translated mafia names, I could see some cheeky translator making a stab at Shueisha with the previous names.
In a non-story note, I still love the chibi characters next to the text bubbles. Puffy Chrollo is totally adorable!

I don't even think Illumi would try to be on his side at this point since he seems aware of the fact that at some point he'd have to fight his ass to the death any way. That and if Hisoka did try to kill Kalluto, Illumi thinks about what benefits the family enough to step in and prevent that.
I have to imagine it was only a matter of time. Neon and her father had a bunch of enemies, either people jealous of their quick rise to power or those who wanted to eliminate her power from the mafia world to even the odds again.
I honestly thought she just committed suicide since she had no use. I remember her being really depressed the last time she was even seen.
I imagine it happened not long after he left. That said, it could be a new quirk of Chrollo's power that he never realized. Remember that he did change how it works recently.
Yeah, perhaps Hisoka takes out a few along the way but there's no way he's having the last laugh here. The opposition has a bunch of people roughly on his level, and they're not dumb either. If Hisoka manages to play games around them are literally win everything it'd be so dumbbbbb.
I guess Togashi could somehow write in Hisoka having the last laugh without him actually winning, but yeah at the end of this all he's either gonna be dead or in hiding. At least he goes down doing something he gets off on. It wouldn't be a good look for The Troupe if one man can humiliate a group of world elite Nen users, no matter how smart or good that man is.

If the Phantom Troupe gets to the first floor I feel things are just going to go insane on a level even more so than the Palace Invasion during the Chimera Ant Arc. One of them is going to encounter Camilla and just off her without thinking then have a giant cat crushing the actual life out of them or one of the other Nen beasts floating around.

This is why I'm thinking a limit to how long he can hold onto a power might be his new limitation. It'd also create a way for him to be beaten because right now he's super broken.
The only thing keeping me from believing this is the case is that he doesn't really remark on his other abilities going missing.
That would be very very harsh, it would take out most of his older powers.

How does Hisoka even know about her?
The Zoldyck's do their jobs so I don't exactly see that happening.
He did get his fortune read by Chrollo so I'm assuming he was told or figured it out.
I would say it´s either her dad because she became useless ,or other mafia bosses because they were afraid she will get her powers back. It could be Hisoka too.
I don't think so. He was paid to do a job or they have an agreement and it makes sense with Hisoka's character.

Either it was the mob after Kurapika left or Chrollo's limitation changed dramatically.
Well, remember that Chrollo gave out her picture to the Troupe, so Hisoka probably got it from that. Or from Kurapika.
I think it's wonderful that we have all of these possibilities as to what happened and they're all pretty solid.
Yep. Illumi did a job that went against the job his dad and granddad were paid to do. He's not backstabbing the troupe considering that Hisoka himself paid him to kill him.
I could see Shizuku dying. She's not a battle type on Hisoka's level.
Ilumi must have an ulterior motive. I would guess he is still in cahoot with Hisoka as long as Hisoka stays away from Kalluto and Killua.
Probably just to get paid. He did say they have a give and take relationship and with way it's going now Hisoka probably isn't going to be too useful to him. Not to mention that Hisoka at some point was going to fight him to the death any way. Now's probably the best change Illumi is ever going to get to beat Hisoka. Not to mention Hisoka in his current mental state is extra dangerous so why bother let him live longer than he needs to?

I won't be happy about that. :( Unfortunately, I don't see the PT sitting around that table with Hisoka's head in the middle of it.
