Even if your intention is to make commentary on the state of gun violence in America, even if the butt of your joke is not the police, this is not an appropriate thread for humor. Please treat the topic with the seriousness it deserves.

Weird that when 17 people got murdered, the same things were said..not much issue. Guess thoughts and prayers might become ban worthy.
Insane that this is still ongoing, I hope this gets resolved quickly. At least they are communicating, and that's always the tricky part.

Sucks for the police officers family, I mean ...all it takes is one day for everything to go wrong. Died doing his job and that fucking sucks. Hope the other officer pulls through.
Not to mention threads on Syria, Iraq etc...

This seems like a break of consistency especially compared to recent threads and comments on the shootings of students, people of color, and ordinary citizens.

It's especially weird given how many truly disgusting and hateful posts were in the last thread that got by without even a warning, yet you get flagged for a big fat nothing.

Speaking of which, is the second post in this thread by Llyrwenne on subject? This place is supposed to be "different" and all that. Can a user literally quoting a mod (Llyrwenne) not get a response from the quoted mod and not a catch a warning? Are we not to ask questions towards mods period?
This warning is quite bothersome. Darryl M R and myself received warning for..dookie reasons. I didn't make a joke, in this thread or the one prior. Funny enough, I quoted Horned Reaper and responded to his derailing (?) post. No warning. Again..preeetty bothersome.

Shame. Surprising they caught the guy without killing him, since he was clearly more of a danger than any number of other folks that got shot to death for waving a wallet.

It was explained to you in the last thread. It clearly wasn't mocking the officer, it was mocking people who claim that arming teachers will prevent mass shootings.
Stop pretending you don't understand that.
