I'm so happy Season 2 managed to be a thing. Anyone watching or even remotely excited for this?

Very much looking forward to it! Thanks for making a thread. I enjoyed the first season a whole lot and I think the historical society have been interesting and often unusual and felt fully realized on the screen. Most importantly I really like all of the characters and their dynamics between each other.

Was super excited they reversed course and brought it back. I'm not expecting it to get renewed again, but I'll be watching.

I thought the show was cancelled. The one thing that took me out of the show completely was the way the Rufus character was portrayed. They went into plenty of American history moments where black people were hated and were slaves and when Rufus goes back he is treated like any other. Removes historical context that could have been given of what his ancestors went through in history

The show seemed to be color blind when it clearly shouldn't have been and should have given viewers what Rufus would have expected had he been alive in that time

I think this is just going to be a shortened wrap-up season to finish the story unless it does exceptionally well.

That said I can't wait, I loved the first season.

I really enjoyed the first season and was bummed when I heard it got cancelled. I didn't bother taking it off the list of series to record on my DVR and was surprised to see it on the upcoming recordings, had to verify that it wasn't a mistake.

I'm really glad they decided to make more episodes. Every show should get to wrap its story up, I hate it when they just cancel things on a cliffhanger, it makes me want to not watch shows sometimes when they're airing because I don't know if they'll commit to seeing the story through. Good on NBC for bringing it back!

Uhhh holy crap I had no idea this actually got un-cancelled. I was kind of bummed out when they had that cliffhanger at the end and thought it wasn't going to come back. Glad to hear that isn't the case! Gonna have to give this a watch, I really liked the first season.

I watched the first three episodes and now they rest of it is back on Hulu.
I really enjoyed the show.
Are the episodes after the third one better?
I can finally watch them.

This surprise is exactly how every episode of season 1 of Timeless ended.
"We came back, what happened to the world since then. Did we stop the show from getting cancelled"?
"What do you mean, it was always going to have a new season. In fact, it's starting tonight"!
Cue shocked and pleasant expressions.

Sigh, too bad it's back to the boring conspiracy stuff. I think I'm out until the finale episode, I don't have time for wheel spinning on TV anymore.

Just watched the episode. This show is still so damn goofy. I do enjoy that they basically openly acknowledge the clear and obvious budget cuts by just blowing up the set from last season and killing off every single extra at Mason.

The Rittenhouse story arc was never going to go away. Maybe after this season, but it was pretty clear last year that that story wasn't over. At least this season has less episodes and a set number of events they need to fix, so there should be a bit more planning in the overall flow of the story.

If every week is "WE SHOULD KILL THIS EVIL GUY BECAUSE HE'S EVIL" and the team is like "WE CAN'T CHANGE HISTORY EVEN THOUGH THE BAD GUYS DO IT ALL THE TIME" like the first season, then other than the gimmick of seeing them in costumes, I'm not sure what you get out of the filler episodes.

Even with this return episode, they should have shot that guy who was in a coma in a head. Or stuck a live grenade in his body. Instead they just let them go... because why not?

I love Timeless because it actually deals with how dangerous time travel would be for black people

Finally got around to watching the premiere. Loving the darker tone of this season so far! Excited to see where this goes!
