I don't even think that boat will arrive to their destination at this point... though they have foreshadowed it will...(and that probably all princes will die...)

I have read on reddit the theory about Neon´s death and i like it the most. Chrollo´s ability does not only steal their nen but also life force. The more Chrollo uses the ability the less life force the person that nen was stolen from has, until it drains their entire life force. Chrollo does not know about this side effect.
Nah, I doubt it. I think Hisoka killed her before boarding the boat or maybe even before his duel with Chrollo to make sure he can't predict his moves.
Other theory I have is that Kurapika hired a nen exorcist to remove Chrollo's ability from Neon. It might be possible to do but I'm not sure.

Like if that was possible I would think Chrollo's book would be empty by now.

Maybe, but I bet most nen exorcists are weak as fuck, and those that can do the job must be very expensive. The exorcist that helped Chrollo was hard to find. If they were common, they wouldn't have needed to risk going to Greed Island.

True enough. Even the Nen Exorcist the Association got to try to help Gon was like, "Hell fucking no can I do anything about this."

I wonder what would have happened if they tried to exorcise Gon. Would it cure Gon but cost the exorcist their life or would it only partially cure Gon, whatever that means. Or maybe the exorcist just dies and Gon would remain the same.

Imagine the Nen Beast that would've needed to be spawned to even take care of that thing. Shit would've been satanic looking.

Abengane would be so screwed, in my head that would be how Godzilla was created in HxH world. :P

I don't even know how he could get rid of the nen beast because Gon didn't had a condition like the Bomber had.

I wonder if all nen exorcism abilities work the same. The one we saw, created a nen beast to "eat" the nen that infected the patient. Maybe other abilities remove nen by other means.

Probably the last one. IIRC it was mentioned that if the exorcism failed the effect could "rebound" on the user? I don't remember the exact phrase. It probably depends on the ability being exorcised as well.

It would probably be the newest 900ft Godzilla too. Would fit right in on the DC as well.

Good point. Probably the other one needed to ingest the malicious nen or something and purify it within her I guess. Didn't the most human looking Ant exorcise Nen? I think she got fat when she did it.

The only other exorcist we've seen that actually used their ability was the Chimera Ant Hina, who carried the curse like a pregnancy. I'm sure other exorcists have different ways of carrying the curse they remove, but have to deal with some burden until the curse slowly fades.

Hmm I honestly don't remember.

I forgot about her. You must be right. It must be a common trait of those type of abilities that the "curse" being removed must be slowly "digested" until it's gone.

Abengane nen beast was not disappearing, on the contrary it was with him until he completed the original power conditions.
The spiders must have paid him a lot of money because he's gonna live a long time with that beast, how does he even deal with powers that have no conditions for removal?

I don't know. I'm guessing that it does disappear but it takes a long time. Otherwise it would be a one time use ability except for abilities with conditions for removal.
The chimera ant "digested" the ability because she stopped looking pregnant after a while. Hakoware does disappear on its own but Knuckle wasn't near them at the time, and we know it doesn't disappear without going bankrupt first which only happens when Knuckle is around.

I have to wonder what Chimera Ant themed meals they will come up with. Pokkle's Brain's Casserole with a side of Mashed Ponzu Potatoes.

Every time I see one of those themed cafes I always wonder if there's a connection between them, like if there's a singular parent company that buys the license to use a certain property to base a menu off of.

Franklin's Apple Drink? For some reason that cracks me up.

The art is neat tho, they all look so suave. Coaster art too cute. I wonder what the second PT menu's gonna be about. Kortopi and Shalnark's dishes swapped with an Illumi and Kalluto version?

Togashi wouldn't really do that would he? Kill off Kurapika before having all four reunite one last time.

Come to think of it, I wonder if Leorio's medical skills will ever be important again? Becoming a doctor was the whole reason he became a hunter to begin with, so I hope so.

Right. Most people are just going to "the fake continent" under the assumption that it's actually the real Dark Continent.

I have to wonder, is there a possibility that a sea monster would attack the ship just as shit starts to go down on the inside? Probably not, but just imagine the chaos.

Perhaps, although it seems like this Whale Ship while simple is an extraordinary feat of engineering, which makes sense as Kakin are pretty much leading the world on that front. We know that pretty much every recorded venture to the DC that didn't use The Guide didn't even make it to land. The Whale Boat would probably get fucked up too.

We saw in one of the earlier chapters, as you get close to DC, the sea monsters get more exotic and horrifying.

Yea, I'm just wondering if shit could possibly get any more real than it looks to be getting.

At least he's more human than Sasuke...

I'd say the execution of Kurapika's arc is a lot better. Sasuke is a very flawed character, even moreso than Kurapika but the execution is just all over the place. It's a shame, Sasuke really killed it from a writing and characterisation standpoint up until Itachi died. It just took a nosedive.

Kishi was clearly winging it at that point, which is something he can't do as well as Togashi.
