I'll gladly watch another season of The Night Of. Season one was flawed but kind of great. I mean if I can make it through crap like most of Game of Thrones and Westworld, why not?

Hell, I'm still watching Here and Now (and completely pointless) for some reason. Gotta justify that HBO bill I guess.

The Night Of got weird, but it was quite good. I'd watch another season, but am not sure of what direction they could take it in. It felt more like a one and done type of show.

The UK original had a totally different story for its second series following a woman who stabs her abusive husband. Which tbh is a pretty timely storyline, so I wouldn't be shocked if they just copied most of it again.

Cancel HBO, get CBS All-Access, watch The Good Fight. Or if you want to keep HBO, move to the Nordics where The Good Fight is on HBO's OTT service.

How is Here and Now lately? I watched the pilot and never continued.

No Kevin Can Wait tonight was a godsend.

I've been watching King of Queens reruns and it's amazing how much better that show was, in comparison. I've been a fan for years, but just started watching it again after a bit of a break.
I catch it every so often. It's them doing a poor imitation of King of Queens. I respect Kevin James for always making sure his people can eat. His brother and Bas Rutten

Any new developments on a second season for The Night Manager and Susanne Bier's involvement?

Yeah izombie is most certainly dead. Hope they at least find a way to wrap up the story.

I love stuff Rob Thomas has done (Veronica Mars, Party Down) but this concept never appealed to me.

RE: the Big Bang Theory repeat getting any ratings. I'll never understand why in 2018 people would spend 30 min of prime time watching a repeat of a show that's in syndication and streaming.

Convenience. If there is nothing you want to watch, it provides random entertainment.

If you loved V. Mars, you must check out iZombie. It's basically V/ Mars with zombies. Most episodes are procedural and creative in the way the former show was, with a compelling overarching plot. I like V. Mars more, it's one of my all-time faves, but iZombie got very good very quickly and has been one of my favorite TV shows since. It's definitely the spiritual successor to his first show.

Tonight is the premiere of Shonda Rhime's last ever show on ABC For The People.

Obviously they can renew that show and also other existing Shonda Rhimes shows for future seasons (such as How to Get Away with Murder, Grey's Anatomy and Station 19) but all future Shonda Rhimes shows will go to Netflix.

With this year being the last year of Scandal and the year prior being the cancellation of both The Catch (which had 2 seasons) as well as the cancelled Star Crossed (which got cancelled during its first season), it should be interesting to see if For The People can become an ABC staple or if Shonda Rhime's last show on ABC will be sent to die.

It's still insane that Fox's moneymaker (Ryan Murphy) and ABC's moneymaker (Shonda Rhimes) are both going to Netflix.

Here for this.

A while back the showrunner alluded that the story might not have a lot of gas left in it, so I'm assuming 6 will be the final season. (then again, if it was the final season, they probably would have just announced it as such in the press release...)

How is Here and Now lately? I watched the pilot and never continued.

It's the same show it was in its first episode, more or less. It still hasn't "revealed itself" yet and it seems to still be in its world/character building phase.

It's very solid, with some great acting and direction.

There are two ways to watch it - the HBO version or the free app version. The app version breaks the story into character centric chunks (of varying lengths) while the HBO version stitches the character chunks together to form a more conventional TV show. The HBO version also entirely omits one specific 30 minute bit that literally shows exactly what happened in the main thread and also explains another small mystery - I guess as a way of making things more ambiguous and intellectual or something.

Alright, many thanks.

There is a TV channel airing all 6 episodes of Mosaic this weekend and I was thinking about watching it.

I guess that I will have to search the internet to find that specific 30 minutes missing part.

welp Black Sails is fantastic. It's also surprisingly funny.

I like Vane's crew more than I like the main crew tho lol >_<

The writers decided to end it at 4 because that's all their story called for.

perfect.

Edit: The Standups Season 2 is up on Netflix March 20th. I never got around to watching the last episode of S1, which was hit or miss for me if I remember correctly (which isn't unusual with stand up I guess) but more of it hit.

I do appreciate how they have equal number male and female comics tho.

Are you enjoying it? How does it compare to SFU?

I am, actually. Sort of. It's extremely messy because it's trying to "say something" about literally everything but it's all very superficial (not to mention ham fisted) at this point and I don't fully understand what it intends to be moving forward, but it's definitely got some of SFU's blood flowing through its veins. It's the sort of show that will, if it ends up being 'good', take some time getting there.

Baskets just keeps getting better and better, this season has been absolutely stellar.

I was gonna ask if it was already renewed, but it turns out Galifianakis already confirmed it last week.
Are you going to do more Baskets?

GALIFIANAKIS: Yeah, we're gonna do Baskets again. That's coming back. I don't know if they've let that be known, but that is coming back.

So yay!

I don't think I've ever heard the word cunt so much in my life as I have in Black Sails, not even in Deadwood lol

Toby whastisname - the main geezer from Black Sails, is incredible. His career otherwise seems extremely crap by comparison. I want him in everything.

Oh...well that explains a lot. Lol. Showbuzz Daily has been doing that quite a bit lately, haven't they? They just did the same thing with Bob's Burgers on Sunday, marking it as a repeat even though it was a new episode.
It's usually fixed by the time the final numbers are released, we just never post the updated chart in here.

About what I expected for the Rise debut. Looking forward to trying it today.

Thanks for the HAN impressions RatskyWatsky, I still want to try it if you find it's solid by season's end.

Ouch at For the People premiere ratings, that's three failures in a row for Shonda. I wonder how the Grey's firefighter spinoff will do.
