I got my first GSYNC display- Acer Predator Z321QU. I'm coming from a FreeSync setup with R9-290X and an HP Omen 32, so this is a significant upgrade (1080 Ti and 144Hz GSYNC monitor). The Z321QU is fairly new and I haven't seen any actual reviews yet, snagged the only one at my local Microcenter. It's... ok. 144Hz is good, not a total game-changer, but it's kind of "eh" for a display that cost me a $300 premium over the FreeSync version. Contrast is actually lower than my Omen 32. There's definitely improvements in pixel response time on the newer VA panel, however, it is immediately evident! I'd get nasty trailing @75Hz on my old panel. This one I get some at 144Hz but it's not nearly as bad. No dead pixels, average uniformity. I'm keeping it. I debated the Alienware and Asus 35" IPS panels but they just had too poor of contrast. This panel, for the price, is acceptable.
