I wonder what's taking them so long, it's been years and we've still seen nothing.
Was contemplating making a thread. But instead I'll just bump this thread. As always this is only my hunch and is nothing more than a theory.
Currently Capcom is in Washington visiting the Xbox team(s). As you can see above.
Now there's two more pieces that make this interesting. Firstly the RE series producer is the one visiting
Secondly, MS is apparently doing E3 prep
There's only one RE title we know of that should be releasing in the next year. Which is RE2make. So it's possible that the reveal or demo of the game could be related to the Xbox stage this year.
However, could also be related to the new Inside Xbox show. The same Dev1 Twitter seemed to tease an RE7 related interview soon. So this could be related to finally getting the Xbox One X patch on PC.
Interesting stuff to think about regardless.
I don't see why it really matters it'll be coming out on both anyway.Revealing it at Xbox I can see rubbing a lot of RE2 fans the wrong way.

Saw rumors on reddit that they restarted the production of RE2 Remake, i hope its fake(it probably is).

Yes, they have cancelled production on all Resident Evil related games and are now 100% focused on Dino Crisis.
I'm talking about thatIt's fake. The rumor getting into the team discussing Claire's face and CVX bring her true face is all you need to know that it's fake.
So no outsourcing to Tose?So this is different from the one I saw. But I wouldn't put much stock into this one either.
From what i've heard RE2make is still on track. So we'll see if that stays the case.
I've heard nothing about Viewtiful Joe 3, but capcom has oddly been pushing the character a bit more lately.
Regardless, I don't think the game restarting production. That would mean everything RE shifted and that RE8 which is planned for 2020 would be even further.
(Since the main team is working on RE2make).

I hope we see the game this E3, but its hard to believe that we will going to see both DMC5 and RE2 Remake in the same day.
Which do you think has more chances to be at E3?Not that i'm aware of. Possible there's some miscommunication and they're helping with assets or maybe DLC. Someone heard murmurs and assumed it was the whole project starting over.
It would be odd to get both games at the same E3. Especially at the same conference but you never know. Odder things have happened after all.
I feel like they will at some point, I would be very shocked if they didn't, especially RE4. It has to be ported to every possible gaming platform out there, it's the rules.Anyone knows why Capcom ported Revelations 1 and 2 to the Switch instead of Remake and 4? Sorry if I'm port begging, but I'm trying to get my twin sisters back into gaming and Resident Evil 4 is the game that turned them into gamers back during the Gamecube (I'm pretty sure they've played it more than I am, and I played it to death)
Capcom is not Square Enix, they will not let the game stay in development for four or five yearsI honestly think we won't see remake 2 this year.
I'm betting for next years E3. Hope I'm wrong though.

We will see the game this year, i'm sure.
Barry's VA was the easiest one to track down and has been known for years, the entire start of this video claiming unknown for 20 years is BS.
Trophies are separated for PS4 and PS3, so it should be the case for Vita as well.Does anyone know if Rev2 on vita has a different trophy set from the PS4 one? This will determine if I buy it.

March 22 marks the 22nd anniversary of RE. If only there was something with a 2 in its title to talk about.
