Oh man, this has lead me to find my new favorite middle school football coach.
This was not the 1st time he sent a letter/resume in for a College Football position.
He only almost got the job because of their dysfunction in the first place. If they had their shit together they would have hired several other people ahead of him.
Still think it's a bullet dodged as far as he's concerned. Everybody else would probably have loved his time at Tennessee but I think for him and the Volunteers it would have been a disaster.
The fuck is wool judging? That trophy is awful smooth for a wool judging championship.
For years I thought meat judging was the stupidest "competition" I had heard of. Then today I hear about wool judging and now I think they're about even.
Anything is a competition when you put your mind to it, I guess.

Florida getting in on the arms race of football facility upgrades. They decided to build a brand new baseball stadium at a different location and demolish the existing one to build a dedicated football facility next to the practice fields. $65 million, 130,000 square feet and it will be ready around 2021.
It's probably situational. And at QB, you'd think they'd tell him to chill after 500. But dude's such a tank, he's been throwing that up since he was a high school junior.
I hope they find somewhere for him to contribute if it ain't at QB.

I was just thinking of him the other day after I read Equanimeous St. Brown's comments about how NFL teams are questioning his love for football "because I went to Notre Dame and I speak languages." I remembered the Rhodes Scholar thing practically being counted as a strike against Rolle in the draft process (though I think he actually skipped a season or two of college football for the scholarship).

The main CFB page for sbnation reposted a rather long article from Good Bull Hunting if you want to waste 15 minutes laughing at Aggies making fun of other Aggies. We all have to make it through the off-season somehow.
They had an equipment manager that had two wireless cameras in staff showers. No student athletes were subjects of this, but apparently one of the other equipment guys or GA's was.
He was fired almost immediately.
